Looks like the dinosaur-movies I did when I was 12 or so...

They could have at least got two guys in rubber suits to do the scenes with dinosaurs. It's not like it hadn't been done before. I mean the Japanese were doing better composite shots using scale models, fire works for explosions, and two guys beating the crap out of each other for the Godzilla movies.

cost per episode of New Who: £1 million. cost per episode of Classic Who (not adjusted for inflation): £2000-£5000. even with inflation, that's a pittance, so yeah, the effects were terrible but inspired.

CGI is 100% better these days but the story lines are worse.
