What does the dinosaurs mean in a lyrical sense? Are they old drink buddies/comrades?

@@NeiyMaritz There are several interpretations that I've seen commented on, there is no "official" one. Some say it's about a man who misses his childhood (children usually like dinosaurs) others say it's about an unhappy man who takes drugs or drinks to escape reality and finally, I've seen it said that it's a citizen who misses Germany 33-45 given the band's history.

@@SchizoMaguS Drink/drug buddies are most likely, since they sing of: ''' the dinosaur will be the death of me''. If you speak to old skindheads, they tell of their ancient tales of drinking and punching punks or immigrants. Some leave this kind of lifestyle and move on and some get hung up on that, continuing to life that way. And sometime all the buddies meet up and talk about the old times. The hung ups usually die(d) around the age of 55. That is my interpretation

Dinosaurs means a lost race. Wanting to be with them would obviously mean missing a time period you belong too. Not too hard to comprehend
