Before I start, Yes! This is a Jojo reference! Man, what an episode! Probably one of the best of the season. Starting with the analysis, I think they went over the characters very well, I was excited to learn more about these two characters, and I wanted to see how it would play out. The cutaway gags were pretty funny, with Boomstick getting a stand and Wiz shutting down "Time, huh?" But the fight is where this episode shines. They handled both characters very well, as both got many "No, you!" moments on each other as the battle escalated in pure chaos. Final Dio after Alucard reaches level 0 was a nice touch and him and ZA WARUDO fighting the Resident Evil Zombies was nice. The Voice Acting was incredibly well done. As with Valentine Stokes reprising his role as Reverse Flash from the "It was me, Barry" memes 2 episodes ago, we have Takahata101 reprising Alucard, and he killed it in this role as usual, making me miss the times TeamFourStar were able to reprise their roles from DBZ Abridged. And while we didn't get Antfish back or CDawg as Dio, Tom Schalk was able to nail it as well, managing to sound like Patrick Seitz (Ragna and Scorpion) and Liam O'Brien (Gaara and Asura) as well as the WRY that's almost identical to the Japanese VA. (And before you ask, yes, Dio's sprites are from the Jojo fighting game "Heritage for the Future" while Alucard's were edited from Nero Chaos from Melty Blood.) The hand drawn segments were well done and the death is one of the best of the season, having the MUDA MUDA MUDA finishes off Alucard was great. The Conclusion is also in depth and they didn't have to use Overheaven Dio or Schrodinger Alucard to justify Dio's victory, literally doing this to both, kzbin.info/www/bejne/jXXdZplnrd6fntk Thank You. I can't give this episode anything other than a 10/10, amazing episode, not as good as Yoda vs. Mickey, but better than Link vs. Cloud 2 and Goku Black vs. Reverse Flash. Very well done. As for next time, Akuma's on it, is he facing Shao Kahn? Yes he is. All I want is a good Martial Arts fight with a brutal fatality as the finishing move, and if the SFM team is doing this one, please put Batgirl vs. Spider Gwen to shame and prove that you guys can do Martial Arts fights.

Sometimes the better character loses. Fight was cool, explanation made sense, so not a repeat of Ben 10 Green Lantern, a win in my book. It was a trip to hear Takahata say the Hermes quote tho. I got 5 on Akuma tho, because he enjoys finger painting.

It’s all about that time stop, DIO could potentially end all 3M lives of Alucard because of that. Makes it even better when you realise he gains more seconds every time he uses it, and he isn’t human so DIO will never run out of stamina. Similar to his Over Heaven counterpart, his timestop will keep growing and growing until eventually it’ll last forever.

Eh, I watched the fight on RoosterTeeth First, and it was really fun. Don't mind the outcome, even if I don't fully agree with their reasoning, and some slight misconceptions I think they may have had about Alucard's abilities regarding Schrodinger(for example, in the fights with both Anderson and Walter, he's seen using multiple powers that they claim he wouldn't have if he had Schrodinger inside him, despite him being in Level Zero at that point, and in the fight with Walter, he's lost his familiars, and thus their powers, but still able to use most of his skills, he shapeshifts, casts illusions, I'm pretty sure he walks on a wall etc..., so he clearly still has access to most of his powers despite having lost his familiars, so he should still have them with Schrodinger, his healing factor isn't as broken, and he can actually be killed in level Zero, he can just never get 3,000,000 souls inside him again, not he that he needs to anymore. while he can't absorb anymore people's souls, the only abilities he doesn't have are those he's taken from other people, but most of his vampiric abilities should be available to him and I very much doubt Alucard or Dio could hypnotize the other considering they both have the ability and Alucard has telepathic and telekinetic abilities that should help resist an ability like that, and if Alucard made any wounds fast enough, it's likely he could pull out some of Dio's blood. So while I understand how they came to the conclusion on who would win, I don't fully agree with their post episode explanation, though I was hoping Alucard would win.) but still a great episode regardless. I love both these characters, so I'm just happy to see them in a death battle and hope that one day, they both get to be in another against someone else. In my opinion, 7-8/10. But if DIO really was so much faster than light as they said, he'd never need to hide from the sun as the light itself would be slower than an ant, carrying a snail, carrying a turtle through tar mixed with molasses as seen in a slow motion at . 25 speed

I Understand why Dio won……. But i still wish Alucard won. But thats just me being bias. Despite my bias towards Hellsing, I’m not gonna let that get in the way of what is an awesome episode. It just needed Alucard winning and it would’ve been perfect, but I’m just bias and petty. Still an amazing episode even if i don't agree with the result.

The only reason Dio won is because they made Alicard do something he would NEVER do no matter what iteration you use Using level 0 on one opponent Alucard has only used level 0 once and that was one a whole army, the only way Dio could beat Alucard was to somehow kill him 3 million times in twelve hours (which is impossible) before the sun comes up and Dio turns to dust. Not to mention he REQUIRES Integra’s permission to even use that form so unless she said he could do it before the mission, level 0 will not be apart of his arsenal to use against Dio(or any other character that fights him)

They outright said that Dio could kill Alucard three million times in quick succession, so whether Alucard used Level 0 didn't change anything. And one of the text boxes say Dio could just hide if the sun ever became a factor. Not to mention that waiting for the sun is such a stupid and nonsensical win con for Alucard because he wouldn't know Dio is weak to sunlight and Dio is not going to magically forget his own weakness like a moron.

@@esteban8471 that’s going by their logic that each time Alucard takes damage he losses a soul which is false, it only take a soul if his heart is destroyed. The biggest evidence for this that after using level 0, the only way to kill him is to pierce his heart. Plus we know decapitation isn’t an option since he was decapitated by Anderson after using level 0. Dio would have to destroy Al’s heart 3,000,000 times in 12 hours, which is impossible since Al’s heart needs to be fully regenerated in order for a new soul to count. Alucard is many things, but stupid ain’t one of them, he could very easily push Dio into the sunlight should Dio try and hide from the sun. Whilst yes Dio isn’t an idiot, neither is Alucard plus Dio has an ego(which they say in the video). The whole “speed blitz him 3000000 times” only works if Alucard is standing still actively taking the hits and even if we give the most forgiving calculations to Dio( which is one soul lost every second) than he would have killed Al 43,200 after 12 hours of fighting, which is a lot but not enough to give him the win.

He does not know Dio's weakness to sunlight, and even if he did, that's not going to help when Dio is thousands of times faster and stronger, *and* can stop time. Alucard would be lucky just to touch Dio, let alone land any damage. The stat gap is way too massive for any of Alucard's advantages to compensate. Also, it's Death Battle rules that outside factors can't kill the combatants so that wasn't going to be an argument for him winning anyway. Dio is already strong enough to pulverize Alucard over and over, so he could easily kill him until he runs out of souls. Dio might have an ego, but that isn't gonna have him magically forget his own weakness. Case and point, his fight with Joseph. He remembered Joseph encased himself in Hamon and stopped his attack. He's going to tell if Alucard tries anything. He was super cautious during his fight with Jotaro too. "The whole speed blitz only works if Alucard is standing still actively taking the hits" You mean like 99% of his fights where he does exactly that? Plus, with a speed gap that massive, he might as well be standing still. The problem with Dio vs Alucard is that both characters have shitty win cons. Dio's win cons have him Stand rush Alucard for hours, and Alucard's win cons have him wait for the sun. The thing is that Dio's superior stats make it easier to justify his win cons than vice versa, at least for Death Battle. Because believe it or not, Dio barraging Alucard for 9 hours straight is more believable than Alucard waiting for the sun to rise *and* Dio suddenly forgetting his weakness to sunlight. But hey, you're free to disagree and we can leave it at that.

@@esteban8471 Alucard can phase through objects which he seemed to forget he can do in this fight, HELL h could've done it when Dio landed the final blow since we see him notice Dio is behind him in the episode Plus Al could probably use level 0 as a way to push Dio out not to mention he could just destroy all the cover around Dio killing him with sunlight. Al isn't stupid, he would immediately notice something is wrong when Dio is doing all that he can to stay in the shade and then deduce the sun as his weakness. Also I forgot to mention this but Alucard could definitely kill dio with Schrodinger's powers since he could just reappear in his heart and then explode him from the inside out(kinda like the antman up thano's ass meme). The justification that it "breaks the lore" is Al has both power is nothing new that DB hasn't already done with other characters in the past Ryuko got to use her kisaragi form despite nedding other to access it the sonic chracters had access to all the 7 chaos emeralds all of their fights(that I know of) despite the very few times singular character even had all 7 green lantern and his time travel powers despite the ring needing the weakeness to yellow literally any DC or MARVEL chracter that had like 5 separate versions fused together to make one character all three of the example I gave break the lore of their respective franchises yet those got a pass not to mention some of these even allowed the character to win in several chases (GL vs ben 10, sonic vs mario, shadow vs Ryuko)

They explain that Alucard's intangibility would not work (not like Alucard ever used it in battle anyway) due to Stands being able to interact with intangible things, and the arguments for Schrodinger are way too hypothetical since Schrodinger has *never* done something like reappear inside someone, and it's not in Alucard's character to go for a cheesy kill like that anyway. So no, neither of those arguments are reliable win cons, especially not by Death Battle rules. Even if Alucard realized Dio's weakness to sunlight, he's too slow to take advantage of it. Not to mention Dio is also a strategic genius so he would figure out what Alucard is planning. Joseph tried to trick Dio by encasing himself in Hamon and that failed. Also, if they give Alucard Schrodinger and his standard powers at the same time, then it's only fair they give Dio stuff that also breaks the Jojo lore, like Jorge Joestar and believe me when I say nobody wants that because that would just be unfair for Alucard. Alucard's win cons are either bad, nonsensical or too hypothetical for them to reliable compared to Dio's, and we can't give him everything at once without the same for Dio which just makes it worse. Also, the examples you listed don't work for one reason or another: -They explain in text boxes that Ryuko could hypothetically go Kisaragi if she wanted to. -Shadow didn't even need the Emeralds to win. Not to mention that Sonic has had all the Emeralds before, so this isn't out of the question. -Hal didn't need time travel to beat Ben. He already had every advantage.

@@doomknight2542 silver chariot also cut the blasts from The Sun without polnareff knowing beforehand, so that's moot. Also in the manga, Star Platinum is directly stated to be faster than light, so we have 5 different feats to give DIO lightspeed at the very least
