Okay, this is 100% canon in my eyes This is SO perfectly in character for both of them, and it makes sense that DIO would have to intimidate D’arby the way he did Hol Horse and some of the other stand users, since D’arby is so obsessed with gambling and not so much fealty to any one person. It’s so well done, dude. Good freaking job.

Another thing. When D'arby played Jotaro, he thought it was impossible he could've switched his cards without anyone noticing. And then when Jotaro was so confedant, he might've thought "wait, maybe he has the same Stand as DIO. The one that let him swap my hand without me noticing... But no, surely they couldn't have the same stand, I mean, it's not like related people can have the same abilities..." *Remembers his brother "oh no..." (This would've made for some INSANE forshadowing for later)
