Ideal diode is supposed to offer 0 resistance right. In one of previous problem we assumed that ideal diode offers 0 resistance and hence voltage drop across ideal diode is 0. then why here we are considering resistance offered by the diode here. Please help

Here we are finding the Thevenin's equivalent circuit across the diode. Since the diode is ideal, so still its resistance in the ON condition is assumed as zero (Short-circuit). You can check at 3:35.

Can we use super nodal analysis here ?

If yes, then what will be the equation of super node?

you will get similar type of questions (as a practice problems) in some books like, Electronics Principle Malvino and Electronics devices and circuit theory by Robert Boylstead.

I have a doubt , shall we use mesh analysis to find current through the 2nd mesh. And substitute the current through the 2nd mesh as the current through the Ideal diode? Pls help me :{

If you want to get the answer by other technique then you can go for nodal analysis. Just replace the diode by short circuit and apply the nodal equation. (Keeping short between A and B). You will get the answer.

THEVENIN theoreme at voltage generatore and R of 4 ohm in partitor sheme say fem = 10 * 4/(4+4) = 5V and internal Ro =4//4=2 ohm. Same theoreme involving corrente gen Say fem = 2A×1ohm = 2V and Internal Ro=1 ohm. Now Circuit Is a unique mesh: I = (5- 2) V / (2 + 1) ohm = 1 A

@@allaboutelectronics-quiz Sir can we use source transformation before checking the nature of diode. As right side of diode is current source then that can be converted into voltage source. And left side of diode is voltage source that can be converted into current source and then a resistor of 4 ohm will be in parallel with another 4 ohm resistor. => there will be only one resistor of 2 ohm with current source of 2.5 A . Then again applying source transformation we get a voltage source of 5V with resistance of 2 ohm. Now it becomes very simple circuit . Now after checking out the nature of diode will get same answer. But sir I want to confirm that it's correct or wrong. Please please please please. .......... answer.
