Love the cutout on the DD foglights. I used to custom retrofit HID projects. Wish DD had a dual light option like morimotos though

Looking at maybe getting a set of these Elite fog lights for my F150. I wished they offered a set with mounting brackets for the first gen Tundra as well but I don't think they do.

Love the ss3s for my fog lights! Used to have Morimoto and Morimoto is trash in output. Wouldn’t even notice they’re on! Might as well have got an eBay brand to test!

i highly doubt this comment. headlight revolution did a 3rd party head to head test and they destroyed DD,BD and KC so this comment is based on false claims.The 1 banger,2 banger and 4 bangers are the brightest and best on the market hands down. The Big bangers are killing everyone. watch the video and see for yourself. The Morimoto OE style fog lights are trash is what I’m saying. I didn’t buy the banger pods, they don’t make anything that fits my application hence why I went with diode. Their customer service is a way better, warranty no questions asked, sorry not no questions asked because they say if your address is the same to send the replacement, I should say no hassle! TRS hasn’t answered any of my phone calls in about 2 weeks lol I’m actually on hold to try and get a hold of them now for the start of a third week straight

For the price these are unbelievable. Awesome fog lights, I swapped from the ss3 sport to these and wow. Unbelievable cut off and output. Was thinking of going with the ss3 max but I could buy two pairs of these for that price. The white matches the OEM led headlights so well. Been loving them and that OE look. Fantastic product as always diode. Killing the game

just a heads up, if you running resistors on your DRL LEDs on 5th gen 4runner your backlight will be very dim since you need to tap into the drl ground. The resistor regulates the watts to go to the DRL so they don't flicker. The low wattage wont come on for the backlight. i wish i knew that before i purchased i would of went another direction. Maybe add that on your description for the 4runner version.

The main differences between the two are how they are made, power output, and appearance. Our Elite Series Lamps are OE-Style in order to maintain a factory appearance to your vehicle, while still providing a great increase in light output from factory fog options. Our SS3 pods are much more modular and can swap the lenses out for different applications, as well as much more power output while remaining street legal!

I adore my ss3s on my Highlander. Unfortunately I bought some Morimoto LED fogs for my Yaris about a month before the Elites came out. I like em for what they are (got em on closeout). But I would of 100% got the Elites if I even knew they were in the pipeline. I really like how the traditional look of those KCs and the warmer output.
