I do love the low profile aspect of it. And it’s nice and narrow but the inside dimensions are generous. It def has some good features.

We want to get this carseat for our newborn...what can you do if its too long to fit in your back seat reclined that far back?

Just an fyi, the Diono website and videos say you need to tighten the car seat BEFORE adding the foam angle adjuster. :)

On a Honda Odyssey, in the middle seat of the 2nd row, the seam of the seat is a bit higher than the fold of a normal seat. Is it still okay to put the rear facing insert tabs into it? It leans the seat backwards towards the front of the vehicle, quite a bit. It's still able to tighten down, though. I can't find any info on this.

Yeah this doesn't fit in our car either, even in the other seats

So i installed this seat in the middle of the car , if i want to sit comfortably both front seats touch the diono on each sides. It does compress on the child seat. Is that dangerous ?

A Diono angle adjust might be useful because as far as I am aware you don't want the front vehicle seats to touch that seat in a rear facing mode. An angle adjuster can sit the seat more upright for children who are old enough to hold their head and neck upright on their own. I can’t get the rebound bar to fit snug against my car seat. My son can fit his feet between the seat & bar. Any ideas? I’m installing in a VW Atlas middle seat

Bit confused I thought I heard you say that you can’t use latch for kids over 35 lbs?!?!

Hi there! So on the side of the seat it reads WARNING: DO NOT USE the LATCH lower anchor belts to attach this Child Restraint rear facing when restraining a child weighing over 35 lbs (15.8 kg) or forward facing when restraining a child weighing over 40 lbs (18 kg). So once a child is over 35 pounds in rear facing mode you'd switch to seat belt installation and in forward facing mode after 40 pounds you'd have to switch to a seat belt installation instead of lower anchor. Hopefully this helps clear it up for you.
