Diontae Johnson is perfect for Bryce Young

The Carolina Panthers trade for Diontae Johnson from the Pittsburgh Steelers gives Bryce Young exactly what he didn't have last season. The NFL's worst passing game in the league last year had nobody with Johnson's speed or ball skills, nor did they have someone who could get open in any situation.
Johnson can immediately take the place of Jonathan Mingo or DJ Chark, while Adam Thielen's role as the go-to option in the offence can be diminished as he ages.

Wrong. He ripped underneath him but the ball wasn’t in the air at the time. That’s like when they hand check each other, it’s just physical football. The defender tried to grab his shoulder and hit his helmet all while the ball was in the air, thus the DPI.

Having a receiver not named Theilen that can get open will be everything for Bryce Young. His Oline was abysmal in 2023 but having nowhere to go with the ball was the number 1 problem.

This is an L take. I can't believe how many people have been trashing our oline and receivers and scouring hours of film to find plays that make them look bad so they have excuses for Bryce. Show some film of chark blowing the top off the defense 3-5 times a game until Reich simply stopped calling deep routes because Bryce didn't even attempt the throw and wound up holding it and taking a sack or throwing the ball out of bounds lol Mingo did it a lot as well. It's so weird to me people spend the time to do this lmao

No no no no Bryce had to hold on to the ball because receivers wasn’t getting open the plays chark made was few and far between 90 percent of the time Bryce was getting pressured or sacked and you wanna know why because the oline couldn’t hold up and the receivers couldn’t get open why do you think the first thing they did in free agency was sign 2 olinemen than a very good route runner receiver this guy is on point with everything he said and the coaches know a helluva lot more than you do bro Bryce will be proving a lot of y’all haters wrong and I can’t wait till the season start smh
