I have a vintage 30ml and was surprised by it's strength when you read some reviews of it being weak. I can really pick it up radiating from one spray off my wrist.....love the stuff

A very underrated fragrance! Good review mate & well done ! Cheerio Fortunately demachy haven't destroyed this one by his reformulation the way he did of Dior Homme original!

Dune For Men (Pour Homme), smells very very good. But there is one note in it I do not like, not sure what it is. Cassis?

I think exotic woods refers to boners. But I'm not 100% sure. How they get them into a perfume bottle is beyond me. 😊 #helpthehole Cheers on a great review Rich. I used to call this one old Figgy myself. Dune also my favourite book series. Totally agree that Cresp was doing his best work in the 90s.

Great Review! Dune reminds me when I was a Child. Summer Holidays in Denmark. Dunes, salty North sea and Buttercakes! Love it! I dont agree with this Demarchy bashing! He did a lot of respectable fragrances. At least a very good reformulation of Fahrenheit. Fahrenheit was a shadow of itself before Demarchy Made a very good Formular quite close to the Original. He created DHI, DH Parfum, Fahrenheit Parfum, Ambre Nuit……. I think he was a good Perfumer.

In fairness, he did do a good reformulation of Fahrenheit. Most of the stuff he did was early on at Dior but a lot of his best stuff was flankers
