I haven’t tried Dune yet. But Balade Sauvage is really good. I enjoy the fruitiness. I am little concerned about it’s staying power on me, which is average

Dior Dune Homme is one of my favorite fragrances ever, so sad it’s discontinued and getting harder to find. Never smelled anything exactly like it, it’s not your typical men’s scent.

Balade Sauvage to me starts off similar to Old Navy's Sea Salt & Fig and settles down into a muted Dune.

I bought Balade Sauvage last week. Maybe not my #1 in the line, but living in the tropics I wanted something I could wear all year long. I find it very unisex 50/50. I get a nutty, almost pistachio note, not dissimilar to the pistachio in Tom Ford Noir Extreme. That nutty nuance sold me. And, I don't usually layer, but I had some Chanel Sycomore on my arm and shot some Balade Sauvage on it... Oh my. It worked really well.. but quite an expensive hybrid. Balade Sauvage is a very clean, beachy, sunny fragrance without being harsh or aquatic. Smooooooootthhh.

I have heard that Balade Sauvage resembles the scent of the Jo Malone’s Wood Sage and Sea Salt, do you also think so? I am searching for a better long lasting and projectivity of the Wood Sage and Sea Salt but also I am concerned for the longevity of the Balade Sauvage too. I wanna vintage dune. The latest one smells like cologne royale with a vague fig note. This fragrance is *not* what it was. Dune is definitely discontinued. They're just selling off what they have left. There's no option for the sales reps to order more on their stock sheets

I think calling Balade Sauvage “fruity” is a bit misleading. Its bright and fresh but not sweet. Especially as peach and fig go… you don’t get a literal sweet juicy fig or peach

Dune was one of those fragrances, I kept getting gifted by one of my uncle, he brought it once and I was like 😕, then he kept bringing it every he visited us. At the time I was heavily using Fahrenheit, I expected Dune to be as equally appealing, however it didn’t suit my pallet. However this has been ages since I had smelled Dune, I wouldn’t mind smelling it

I find fig to be one of the most versatile fruits in that it can range from not very sweet (using fig leaf) to very sexy (Le Labo The Noir as an example) but doesn't smell overly syrupy sweet like a lot of other fruits can on me (unfortunately plum notes tend to go too sweet on me).

balade suavage is an extremely compelling fragrance but the sillage is from the weakest especially considering it is "boutique"

Balade Sauvage is my second favorite fruity fragrance. I recently bought a large bottle of it, and will be buying my very favorite fruity/citrus scent, Louis Vuitton's Afternoon Swim, soon! Dune PH is really just a "like" for me. I have a decant of it, but that's it. It's really just OK for me, not a "WOW!" fragrance like Balade Sauvage. Balade Sauvage is definitely unisex. On the dry down, it comes across as something that's hard to describe...just a great smelling fragrance and something hard to pin down. People will wonder what you're wearing because you just smell great!
