They bashed it because it is just lazy for Dior to not even call it by another name or even design a new bottle around it. The first year it was out, distributors had problems sending the wrong one to customers. That's where the hate originally came from. I think it smells ok but I haven't given it a full wearing. After Dior discontinued Fahrenheit Parfum outside of France, I told myself I'll never buy a Dior product in my life.

I finally bought it a few days ago - it´s really great, classy, woody. calming every-day scent. Do not listen to anybody, when picking up a fragrance, follow your own nose and heart. ✌

This is the most versatile fragrance ever created, sexy but still low-key. Its one of my work fragrances. It’s screams off my skin and was projecting for 8-10 hours straight which surprised me for a EDT. I could smell it for 15 hours on skin.

Most versatile, slept on fragrance, as a matter of fact, in Sumner, it pumps, compliments galore, I guess its the ISO E Super that carries it, a modern day gem, I know soon as I got that it will be appreciated much later ,it took me a while to understand its simple but elegant built....my back up is on the way, especially because its a sleeper, so nobody smells like this...thou I'm happy it is starting to get the credit it deserves .....

My mom bought this one for me when I actually wanted Dior Homme Parfum but I really dig it. Wasn't the biggest fan during the first usages but it grew on me. I disagree with it not being good in high heat. The opening is really bright and the sillage is very moderate so in my eyes, a good summer scent. Definitely the best together with ADG out of the ones I own.

@@souljah9e I actually have Profumo. I prefer Profumo but they are quite different. Both have above average performance for fresh scents. Dior Homme is more subtle, musky in the drydown.

Just got this today from Maxaroma, wore it all day and it’s amazing. It’s not Dior Homme intense-ish, it stands on it’s own. Definitely has a place in the collection for summer nights into fall, then I would lean over to Dior Homme intense, Givenchy Gentlemen Reserve Prive and PDM Herod.

I am actually really suprised by this fragrance, smelling it out of the bottle I thought it was meh. But I actually gave it a try on skin today while at the office, and I received two compliments which I was pretty surprised by. And also on my skin this fragrance is performing surprisingly well.

Was my first fragrance as a 30 year old guy and I picked this over Sauvage and DHI 😂Just smelled better for me. Unfortunately performance and longevity sucks, even as a newbie I realised this very quickly.

Good fragrance. Masculine. Unfortunately the EDT does not have substantial longevity nor sillage in particular for a mature man over 45. Works better on a summer evening. You'll most likely need to reapply after a few hours especially in the autumn or winter. I'd honestly say I get a solid 90 minutes from this. Bring the bottle along, reapply at will. Parfum or Intense would give better mileage.

Original smells too similar to Dior Homme Intense, which is probably why original got taken off the US market. I honestly like all of the Dior Homme line (except for Sport). The 2020 version is good too, my favorite is Parfum (10/10 fragrance)

Just bought one and immediately i noticed that it it's just a clean sent, like nivea or dove soap. The old one was charming , more sweet and spicer. I'm so disappointed ..didn't even noticed that the Original homme is now avaliable. It reminds me also about bvlgari blv pour homme 😢😢

The man in 2020 needed to be revamped. This 2020 says "Homme" to me more than the original. Dior decided to go simple, straight to the point, just like a man. Giving you the essence of what most masculine scents are. Woody, citrusy, fresh, and musky. "Sounds simple, but we're Dior. Watch us do simple man better than anyone because you already know what we do if we want to get crazy complex." Genius if you ask me. It literally smells like a man, and that's it. Giving the market something extremely useful in a market thats over saturated with sweet, powdery, blue, aquatic, and marine. It's the simple generic classic we didn't know we needed. Ahead of its time ironically.

Depends on what BDC you are referring to. I only have the edp and I think they aren't redundant. DH doesn't have the aquatic notes and focuses on the citrus, woody and spicy notes (without going arabic). BDC kicked off the blue hype train and has inspired many releases, so it doesn't smell as unique anymore. DH takes a very unique approach. Both are elegant and easy to wear, DH is a bit more extraverted. I'm not a big fan of citrusy fragrances but DH2020 is one of my all time favourites and beats BDC imo.

The Dior Home intense is AMAZING and the long lasting power is GREAT yet discontinued but this is a fresher version of it ! This is a best substitute of it . I still have about a 15 ml of the intense which I spray a push of before applying this one over it 😂❤🎉💯

It's mediocre at best for me thus far. I'll try to get a sample of it for some full wearings. I really hate this trend of soft woody notes and synthetic aroma chemicals and add that to the overall price... I would never pay for a full bottle unless it was heavily discounted. I also Issey Miyake Wood and Wood which Dior probably used as a model to base this on. It is more affordable and has more natural ingredients except for ambroxan to push those soft wood notes out. W&W is pleasant but i don't want it either. I can't like a fragrance like W&W or Dior 2020. I don't want to smell like a tree afterall. Once you get passed the honeymoon phase, you'll know where I'm coming from. This new wood trend is boring.

It’s toned down on the new doir homme intense that dry down is heavenly 2020 don’t compare unless you hate iris then this your scent.
