They have Homme Intense attar now for Dior Homme Parfum. Hope you get to review that because the chances of getting DHP outside of Europe is very difficult so an alternative is welcome.

Thanks for doing this. I really do love Dua’s resurrections of lost classics, however I sometimes find their emphasis on greater longevity & performance a bit too much. When wearing them, I often find that by the end of the day, I’ve had more than enough of the scent & almost wish it had faded already. You kind of hit on that point a bit when you referred to how dense this version was & that to me comes off a bit heavy handed at times, lacking finesse. I’d also love to see the Invictus Aqua 2016 version & if possible, compare with PV’s Aqua. Cheers!

@ Ron Phillips agreed. I’m never comfortable with fragrances that project hugely they’re a bit crass, a bit needy & i always feel a little embarrassed when people can smell me from across a room However i do like good longevity as long the fragrance develops. If it’s linear it becomes a drag.

Hello ! Between Dior homme parfum and tom Ford Oud wood which one would you choose and why ? I’m thinking to buy one of this two ! I own allready the Dior homme edt older version but I’ve red awesome reviews about the perfume ! I’d like the idea of a masculine dark more enigmatic perfume that I can also wear in warm weather! I have and prefer the 2005 DH over the 2011-2019 versions (no comment on 2020).. Strangely, I have and prefer the 2013 DHI over the earlier AND later versions.. Go figure 🤷🏻‍♂️ Not tried the DUA version but after this excellent review, I think I will 🤔

Got it as soon as I saw it advertised. Holy moly. I just sprayed the cap and I knew it was spot on. Letting it sit for like a month or two to get the full blend. Good work sir

DUA Aquaventure 2016 v Invictus Aqua 2016 v PV Aqua intense I have all 3 and to my nose Dua is a bit dirty/Earthy but still ok long lasting pv Aqua is also good but both of these lack that something and to me its the Yuzu ! Note but Mr Smelly Dan please do a review as would be good to get your take on these for me the Original Invictus aqua 2016 is still the king of the summer Bangers

I have this Dua fragrance, and it performs so well - beast mode!! Scent bubble for hours, and it smells very close to the Dior fragrance I sampled once. Love the Dua!

A&F made a new one that smells like invictis.its called together 2020.has a him and hers bottle. Blue and pink.and smells like 41 and projects heavenly

I just bought Dior Homme Intense, I bought EDT and immediately returned that one as the Intense EDP projected like a beast where as the EDT turned into skin scent. World duty free are doing great deals I bought all the Dior Sauvage range as they doing 3 for 2, basically one free. This has to be the same brand I also bought Fahrenheit, Dior is pure class along with Channel.

The Dua Intense Homme is a performance beast! Spray a shirt and it will stay on there 2 weeks hanging up. Best I can describe the smell is chocolate lipstick. I love it

There's a noticeable difference, my bottle smells just like a mix of Dior Hommes. The first Intense was a lipstick bomb on me, loooots of cocoa and iris, and this one is way more masculine, lavender fighting with iris from start to finish. I didn't even know lavender was there with the vintage, that's how boomy the lipstick was. I really miss that smell and anyone who wants to find something like this here might be disappointed. Don't get me wrong, it's way closer to the Polge's formula than the current and future line will ever be, just don't get your expectations too high.

I can’t believe you think this is an accurate interpretation!? To my nose the Dua smells like a cheap and simplistic rendition.. I bought this fragrance based on positive reviews like this, but now I’m starting to wonder if these positive Dua reviews are influenced by money or discounts.

I wrote that review before I had let it sit, but yeah I have now and this one definitely gets a bit better after having time to macerate. It smelled more synthetic at first. It’s still not nearly as good as the original, but it smells pretty good and does the trick if I’m craving that sweet powdery lipstick smell.
