I love the 2005-2010 Dior Hommes They already have their variations regardless of the stem color but in the end they all smell great. Im not a fan of the 2020 remake

Great video your evaluation is on point. You're right Dior Homme is not a love at first sniff scent, but given a chance it's a beautiful fragrance.

I have 2 bottles of the 2005 version and 1 of the 2011. I have to say that i prefer the 2005, the scent is a little bit better, the projection and longevity are grear for me, it strongly projects like 2, 3 hours easily and stays on my skin above 10 hours. The 2011 also projects 2, 3 hours strongly but at the 10 hour mark o can not smell it on my skin like the other one. And I made a lot of tests in different environments and had the same results. I have also a 2011 dhi bottle and that one stays also 10+ hours on my skin and projects like a beast. I recently tried a 2019 version of dhi and it didn't even last 8 hours on my skin. Dh parfum, i have both 75 and 100ml versions and have to say they are pretty much the same, maybe 75ml is a little bit stronger in the opening, and have a little more punch, but un thr drydown they are pretty much the same.

What about the 2020 version of Dior Homme ORIGINAL? In Europe there is the new Dior Homme but also a new version of Dior Homme Original which is not available in non European countries like America. I'd like to know if this has been reformulated or is the same as the 2011 version.

A great comparison!! I don't have the 2011 version, but my vintage bottle has held up pretty well. Always considered it the epitome of designer perfumery, so OF COURSE it had to be reformed. Fortunately, once you get into niche there are more interesting options for formal wear so I'm not that devastated. Orris butter is expensive!

You must get the Dior Homme 2011 before it becomes hard to find. Rumors say it will be exclusive to France. In my opinion, Dior Homme should belong to Dior's Private blends because it's really niche quality for me.

I bought Dior Homme original from fragrance net it’s a 2018 batch everything looks good but the inside tap in box is cream not black? Does it come like that?

To be honest, I don't own any Dior Homme Original boxes since all of my Dior Homme bottles are testers. I believe fragrancenet sells legit perfumes. They've been selling fragrances for a long time already. One way to test the fragrance you have is to test the sprayer. Just small gentle taps on the nozzle and you'll be able to release some juice already. Dior engraving on the black stem and compare the smell to testers in your local department store. 👍

Yes. As long as you buy the old presentation, it's still the iris-based fragrance that we love. Get it while you still can since it will be Europe-exclusive soon.

I guess I'm not sophistocated, hehehe! I prefer the cleaner iris of Prada L'Homme and that's maximum iris strength and type that I can tolerate. Tested the Sport version and that the only one I like from the line. Anyway, looking forward to testing the v.2020, without the iris, I just might start buying the Dior Homme line. 😁
