I agree about the line expansion to an extent. When it's a thoughtful expansion like the CT and dior lines, I'm all for it. Don’t know if this is intentional or not, but I really appreciate how you took the time to mention the diversity issues in regards to the eye primer, even though it may be “insignificant” or “unnecessary” to bring in racial issues. In my opinion, any influencer who is able to find their shade should ALWAYS mention the shade range, because their is nothing worse than being excited about someone’s recommendation, checking out the product, only to see that they are not included. While I don’t support the vast majority of fashion designer makeup lines, as they are not just negligent but clearly RACIST, I really appreciate how you are able to feature what you actually use and love while still calling out the lack of diversity. I wish more people could do the same! 💖

Thank you Olivia, it was definitely intentional! ☺️👍 I try to mention shade ranges where possible, but because I don't wear foundation and very rarely purchase new concealers or other base products, it's not always a category I'm aware of, but should make an effort to be. I was particularly struck by the colour in this case because it's quite opaque and pale so won't adapt for many people at all. Several brands I use have rightly faced scrutiny recently for launches with limited shade ranges, so it has made me even more aware of the importance of looking out for it and commenting on it x

Just to let you know very quickly, I’m of Indian origin so I have brown skin. I own the palette and yes, the primer was a bit light HOWEVER, it gave a lighter canvas for the shadows to go on brighter, so overall a plus

I have the dior cherry lip oil in the shade “cherry” and I absolutely love it! I feel like light pink/clear looking lip glosses leave my lips with this almost “white” color on my lips instead of bringing out my natural lip color and this lip oil does just that, after I saw the lip oil video you did i decided to just go for it and buy it! i bought it in late February and i’m almost done with it! Cant wait to buy it again.

I love this range and lip oil is so good I have started ignoring regular lip balms...simply coz it does the job of both balm and gives a slight colour at the same time. Last month, I bought my first Dior lip glow balm in Rosewood. I am a woman of colour with deeply pigmented lips. The tint still shows up enough for me to notice it. I really love the texture and do find it moisturizing. I also bought the holo rose gold which is nice too, but doesn't leave a tint. Rather, it leaves a sweet-looking sparkle on my lips. Thankfully, I don't feel any grit with that balm.

Have you ever tried Chapstick Brand Total Hydration 3 in 1stick balm. it is my favorite everyday lip balm so I would recommend you try it out. Also you need to try aquaphor lip balm as well. it is the best lip treatment I’ve used

I personally don't follow expiry dates at all - I prefer to prioritise cleanliness instead (only applying makeup with clean hands, never sharing with other people, putting lids straight back on, cleaning up packaging after use etc) and to be honest, I’ve rarely had anything 'go bad'. If it still looks / smells / performs the same, I keep it! But that’s always a personal call 👍 x

Ooh that's a tough call, they're two of my favourite gloss formulas! ✨ Neither are truly moisturising (only a more nourishing lip balm can do that for me) but the Bobbi Brown Crushed Oil-Infused glosses probably feel slightly more balmy and light than the Dior Lip Glow Oils. Bobbi Brown is also more pigmented than these but still designed to be sheer. You can find lots of swatches of those in a video on my channel! x

Hey Matilda! I was wondering if you could review some cushion compacts! Specifically korean bb/cc cream cushions. Usually these cushions provided a dewy, natural coverage, so I thought it would be a good product for you to review! I hope you can review some good brands! I haven’t really found a good cushion compact review (most people don’t use the puff that comes with the product) so I’m hoping you can consider it!

I don't own any of those types of products unfortunately! I just prefer to use tinted moisturisers or skin tints 👍 Hopefully you'll find reviews elsewhere x
