Purpose is a bestseller in Oman and the east. Their culture is so connected to the frankincense. So it totally makes sense.

The numbers in the Amouage product names are the concentrations (here, 50% concentrate), and then they give notes on the length of maturation, maceration and aging in the descriptions.

I smelt Peche Mirage in Selfridges. Not a whisper of leather, it's a tropical fruity fabric conditioner - you wouldn't even guess peach. Clearly for the East Asian market.

I have a sample of Peche Mirage. It is a mirage as the name implies. Soapy, clean, slightly peachy. Faint, subdued kind of an elegant scent. It can be nice for summer.

Amouage Purpose is my most favorite fragrance. Very fresh yet deep. Surprisingly wearable in all weather. Contemplative and timeless. Smells like it is ancient

From H&M online I got "T-Shirt" couple of years ago, it´s only 20 ml but cost was about €6. To me it smells great, super clean floral. Looking forward to that new Givenchy Society, although one of the last ones to me has a tinge that reminds me of stink bugs, deal breaker for me. We´ll see how this new Ambree flanker does.

I've tried the EDT of Declaration and really enjoy it but haven't got my nose on the Parfum version yet. I'm looking forward to smelling the new EDP and finally giving the Parfum a try.

Peche mirage is a nice tart leathery peach. Unisex, leans fem open and dries into an almost ambery soft leather woody tart peach. Totally unisex after opening. Subtle. Really like.

I have both Devotions and find them too overwhelming and synthetic smelling now. Declaration sounds promising, so I am noting it on my list. Talisman has some of my favorite accords, so I am noting that. Maybe Dreamer too. I am saving my pennies for more niche perfumes but these do sound good. Thanks, Sebastian.

I'm eager to try the new Declaration. Man, I wish they'd bring back Declaration D'un Soir. I have the intense and really like it, but I miss the original. As a chypre lover, I really want to try that D.S. & Durga as well. There's always room for more chypre.

I also found the choice of going for Purpose 50 to be really weird. I like Purpose but it’s far from my favorite. I think RS really wanted to go with a frag that was made under his guidance. Maybe I would have gone for Boundless within those constraints? I feel that the popularity of Quentin Bisch had a huge impact on the choice…

First attempt at a Declaration EdP was the Essence incarnation, late 00s. EdP is quite good actually and I really liked the Parfum version. Not so fond of the Haute Fraicheur

After the recent acquisition I’m quite skeptical of DS and Durga, but I’ll hope for the best. Prada has good releases when they were under PUIG. Now that they are with L’Oréal I couldn’t care less about the releases.

Nice video, the 50 from Amouage comes from the perfume concentration, 50% oil and the rest alcohol and water. There was no need for this one indeed.

Purpose 50 is for 50% of perfume oil concentration. Thats what the number depicts on all their extracts.

My favorite was Declaration D’un Soir and that rose is fresh, less cumin, which the original didn’t work on my skin. I am not going to add anything from designers this year. They seem to be milking things targeting young folks. Not my thing, and I am tired of the same sweetness. Quentin using again the same Akigalawood

Peche Mirage is a soapy, clean, faint, subdued scent. Smells like a fruity shampoo. No leather at all. Absolutely feminine.
