Dip Netting Salmon Kenai Alaska First Time

B Outdoors, Alaska goes dip netting on the Kenai river for the first time ever come along with us as we catch sockeye salmon, flounder from shore at the mouth of the Kenai river on the Kenai Peninsula we watch incoming tide swallow several vehicles that were parked too close to the water. There were hundreds if not thousands of people they’re all hoping to fill their freezers for the upcoming winter, B, Outdoors, Alaska travels from Seward Alaska to Kenai, Alaska, to find a Dipnet in Soldotna Alaska and-successfully catch fish for the first time while dip netting for Salmon.

So, when you're fishing the North beach like you were, the fish are coming from the right almost always, unless they're being pushed around by a sea lion. Make sure to turn you net clockwise, roll it over to the right>>>> they're gill nets but the big bucks sometimes are too big for the mesh and you need to turn the net and keep it down while walking it up the beach, otherwise you will lose the big ones. The Kenai River is just a big fish fishery. Kings, reds, silvers, pinks, some of the biggest in the world have come out of there.
