Their planned planet ships remind me of the Iserlohn Fortress from LOGH (or the Death Star from Star Wars if you're not familiar with LOGH). I also like that little touch where the expedition commander mistakenly referred to the human as English because of his native language.

This Human Captain has unintentionally intimidating and unnerve this alien species it had contact with. Not a good start on appearances I would say. I Love the concept of this story lol 🤝🇬🇧. Thank you for putting a smile on my faces 👍

Rest of the story should be humans getting offended at the lack of dyson spheres the aliens have and the lack of infrastructure that when ever a group of humans migrate they just start building it for the aliens

i suspect this was inspired by an Isaac Asimov short story. a robot was sent to the surface of Jupiter? and the natives of Jupiter stopped war preparations against earth thinking the super strong indestructible robot was representative of life on Earth. can someone point out the Asimov story, it's been 20+ years since i read it so may have got the planet wrong.
