Legend says that a covenant of the 50 brightest psychologists in the world met in seclusion for two years. They were unable to figure out what the person who decided to paint this desk was thinking.
@laineymcd407421 күн бұрын
Maybe they should have looked closer to the large blue stain. That was probably a large clue. Then there was the rough cut through the centre of the very large table. Now half a table with a large stain is probably not worth that much to some. If you can't get the stain out, paint it away.

I recently saw a furniture refinisher using a baking soda blaster to strip paint off of furniture. It worked really well!! Especially on fine, intricate details and all the nooks, crannies, grain. Though she did mention that she should have gotten the one that held a larger volume of soda. Might be something to check into and add to your tool kit.

@restorationrhode22 күн бұрын
Haha. As my wife says, trust but verify. Haha. I scrubbed it with the wire brush then I sanded with 220 grit trying not to sand through the veneer. I got about 95% of it out. At quick glance you can’t see it. But if you examine it you can still see a small trace of it.
