Purple was for millennia the color of royalty, because for a very long time purple dye was an incredibly rare and expensive commodity. When i saw that color shift all i could think about was Byzantine emperors, so naturally I think it should be called, Byzantine Fire.

Every new mix or combination, I always think "this is my favorite" but this one really might be my favorite. 5/5 The extreme shift to a sandy gold color reminds me of the desert, so maybe a name something like desert dreams or idk something less cheesy than dream The soft "oh no" as you poured the HKS Purple was just top notch haha

This is a masterpiece. A perfect 10. The colors are gorgeous, the flip is insane. You're going to have a hard time topping this as the all time best color combo/color shift ever created. The 1-5 scale just isn't enough. It's a 10.

Absolutely love this colour. A big 5 here. As for the name... I see a lot of autumn colours (Gold, Bronze, Reds etc) that push through and merge with the deep plum/Purple. Would have to go with Autumn Plum.

The ZTO with the Rose gold from the other video might work considering the ZTO has the copper that the rose gold needed. Actually after seeing the result that is more of a rose gold at the right angle (timestamp 9:32 the rear quarter panel) compared to the rose gold attemp that was a pastel lavender. Badass color either way.

I believe it would have been better if you stopped at the 50/50 ratio. At that mix, it was only purple on the extreme one way. So you got regular hyper shift, but where you get the green at an extreme angle, you got the purple at the other.

This turned out gorgeous. I still want to see your original idea! Tinting a shift with one of the colors in the shift to amp up saturation. My vote would be amping up black to red with a red candy. I don’t think the red kandy would affect the black end of the shift, but I think it could brighten the red. Anyway maybe I’ll find another video where you tried it.
