@@emilyharpist I enjoy the videos, they are interesting and entertaining at the same time. I can’t imagine how long it took you to master such an ominous instrument as the harp. It is a truly enchanting instrument with a sound that puts all other instruments to shame because of the emotions that it invokes in people. It’s truly the one of the few instruments capable of captivating an entire audience all by itself. Also one of the oldest of the modern instruments, I believe it goes back to Ancient Greece, maybe even as for back as the Egyptian empire around 2500 BC. My hats off to you for not just taking on such an endeavor but mastering it. I imagine your performances are even more enchanting than your videos. I just started playing the bass guitar, at 45 I thought I might be in over my head. However I’m glad I finally picked it up and decided to take it seriously finally. I tinkered with one in high school but didn’t stick with it, now I’m not sure how I managed to live without it. I know I’m terrible at it but that’s ok, the challenge of learning it only inspires me to practice even more. More goal is pretty simple, to simply not suck at playing it. I figure I’ll start at the suck level, then move up to the stink level, eventually I’ll make my way up to terrible, then awful, and hopefully within a couple of years of really hard practice I’ll make it up to bad and maybe even mediocre. Someday I aspire to be OK, one needs to sets there sights on an obtainable goal. 🙃😎. Do continue your musical journey, you may not know it but you do inspire those of us attempting to make an honest effort at learning music to keep practicing. Thank you, your a rock star 🌟
