Dire Maul East: Jump Run Solo Warlock Guide ~

In this video, I share my Dire Maul East jump run solo warlock guide (2021).
Thanks for watching my DME solo warlock jump run guide! As briefly explained in the video, greater eternal essences (6g value) were the MVPs in my runs which allow for a safety net if you don't loot any coveted arcane crystals. Unfortunately, I never took a screenshot of an arcane crystal-less session, so you'll just have to find out for yourself :(. That being said, hopefully, the prices look good on your servers too so enchanting can be great for you as well! Dire Maul East jump runs are honestly one of the best gold making activities in Classic WoW and if you have a warlock, you definitely want to take advantage of it.
Sorry for taking so long for a guide that could've just been thrown together. I wanted to use this video to get acquainted with some of the programs in the Adobe Suite. Also with school and learning all the software it took a bit, haha.
With that said, my next video will be political so get ready for a good meme :P. It might take a while to create while juggling school, however, but I'll be working diligently! That effect you’re talking about that makes the second bosses sacrifice hit you sometimes even though you feel like you are out of line of sight is called leeway. If you stop moving before the end of the cast you will not get hit by sacrifice if you are out of line of sight where as sometimes if you continue to move you will sometimes still get hit by the sacrifice even though you ran los.

One alternate suggestion is to use Detect Lesser Invis because it will let you see the Satyrs much sooner. Also part of me wishes i leveled another toon already to I could drop herb for enchanting just to DE stuff. My alt priest is my enchanter but he doesnt have anything good even tho he is maxed.

@@seph3456 yea I think I'm gonna wait a bit before I decide to do that since I also run Mara for the ghost mushrooms. I did an hour or two today and got 14. Then while getting ready for ony buff I went to dme on the back side and got 4 spawns there. Got my trib buffs and was set for the night.

Can Zevrim not be LoS’d in his room anymore? Tried today for the first time and he ran right up to me and killed me. I may have positioned wrong though

He can. I don't know how you did it, but I think hugging the wall makes him path back and I believe you want to start the pull being against the wall at the end of the pillar next to him initially. Tbh, it was always wonky for me, so that's why I jump down and fight him at the pool. Not only is it safer (one sacrifice and it's a wipe), but I also get to make bandages and disenchant greens/blues while waiting.

Whats the reasoning behind improved succubus in the talent build? It doesn't seem like something that'll ever be very useful, is it just filler talents?

Ye, just filler. Feel free to replace that with anything else. I can't 100% recall, but I might have had those points for wpvp.

I tried enslaving one demon and having him fight the one on the way up to Zevrim, but it just breaks 100% of the time and they just both come for me at around 50% hp. How to deal with this?

Damn, my hellcaller keeps dying and if I take aggro too soon, I die. Is it an idea to sac my voidwalker, health funnel maybe? Or even tame the demon wandering the hall, send that in to kill imps, tame the hellcaller after imps r dead and kill the one in the hall then hydrospawn?

I like this strategy esp for Zevrim, it takes longer but if he scarfices you, which he will especially if you're new, you can still recover. I would say it probably takes about 30 runs to do this in the times posted here. Currently I am on run 8? and it takes me about 15-20 mins.

I thought I commented :(. Yeah, I definitely value safety over reckless time saves when playing the long game (more than one run). 30 second loss to wait for Zevrim to get down, is MUCH more bearable than outright dying without being able to soulstone. Also, thank you so much for the kind words ❤.

I can’t hide from imps on a stone after Alzzin. Hotfixed it? It may be necessary to jump in a special way, help. Had to run through and die in a cave soulstoned.

Sorry to hear about that :(. Watch my "imp skip" video. It goes into detail about when to jump to run to the invis spot as well as why it works the way it does. I highly doubt they patched it, so you should be good afterward. Good luck!

Thank you so much ❤️. The debuff timers are weakauras found in the description. The nameplate addon is KuiNameplates which shows the debuffs above the healthbar (above character model). If you're looking for countdown timers under the target frame (not nameplate above character model), that's OmniCC + ClassicAuraDurations.

i used to run this for fun as duo with paladin that had lots of spellpower. he was mining + engi and i had herba + enchating that way we could kill last boss easily also. BoP on me and bubble on pala when imps come then proceed into holy wrath + dense dynamite + tick or 2 from rain or hellfire

I honestly wouldn't worry about gear outside of the stuff listed in the description (spec is in the description too!). I would just try to get at least 300 sp from pre-bis gear to make it smoother, but other than that there really isn't a gear requirement, just a skill or "do it long enough to get good at it" requirement. Pre-raid bis is more than enough! People do it naked :P. It's mainly just more gear makes it faster.

I get stunned doing this 8 out of 10 times, and die. I have no way to speed myself up from the ledge to the safe spot on the last boss. Any ideas?

If you're talking about the imps dazing you, you want to make sure all the imps are clumped together and jump as they get close to you on the railing. Not too close tho or you'll get dazed, but close enough so u have enough time to get to the safe spot and pot.

@@seph3456 That timing is definitely hard to get down. While learning though, I'll just say that 1 Arcane Crystal makes up for all the deaths so its worth it to try, even if you have to come back and soul stone drop from the top, just so you can run in to the tunnel and die to mine.

Is mining necessary to make Dme solo worth it? Currently herb.

I'd say so. The difficulty jump from mara to dme is very noticeable and the difficulty is, in my opinion, only offset by the larger gain potentials and just generally much higher averaged hourly gold. I'd maybe still do it without mining and roll herb/enchanting since I still averaged around 70g/hour even without crystals with enchanting by itself, but that's only because I'm so used to dme at this point. That said there are other routes that tailor to herbing specifically, so you could check those out. If you need long-term gold, I'd definitely recommend investing time into learning mining. You'll save much more time in the long run!

garbage farm - more profitable and consistent to farm lashers + herbs with mage and something else with another character. Can do 2 pulls of 4 packs of lashers and herb the 2 dream and 2 grom in 7 minutes
