eu assisto diariamente algumas performances tanto do grupo quanto de Mark, e quase sempre acabo lagrimas em meus olhos, por que é muito lindo de ver...para mim são perfeitos e é a banda e o músico da minha vida...❤❤❤❤❤❤

Mark Knopfler- Guitar and vocals, Phil Palmer- Guitar, Paul Franklin- Pedal steel guitar, Guy Fletcher- keyboards, Alan Clark-keyboards, Chris Whitten- drums, Danny Cummings- percussion, John Ilsley- bass. And many bands would close their concert with something like this, Dire Straits opened with it. Also Phil Palmer said when he worked with Eric Clapton they rehearsed for 2 weeks before a tour, with Mark they rehearsed for 3 months.

The guy "getting it" in the polka dot shirt is still the drummer for his solo band today, Danny Cummings. Guy Fletcher on keys is the other fellow in this performance that's still with him. Few people are as consistently good as Mr. Knopfler has been for decades. Part of a life well lived imo.

It does not matter how many times you watch this incredible performance, it never fails to blow your mind. It's so clear why Mark is so highly rated whether with Dire Straits or as a solo artist. His songwriting and performances are off the scale. Rightly so, Mark is on another level. There will never be another Dire Straits or Mark Knopfler. The virtuoso will be forever on the airways for future generations. The only thing better than watching on KZbin would actually being there. Oh wait a minute, I was there for this tour in 1992 in London. I feel so lucky to have witnessed them with my own eyes. Excellent reaction.

Thank you, tho I would say you get the better end of the deal by actually being able to see them in person.

Hi, nice reaction to my fave artist and band.Always love this performance. I think you'll really like Once Upon A Time In The West from Alchemy Live 1983 and also Money For Nothing - Live Dire Straits Sydney Final Concert 1986, the same concert you checked out Sultans Of Swing from. Love your channel. All the best from Mark V, Australia. Cheers 👍🎸🎸🎸

I'll definitely be sure to get to those. In fact, I do believe that Once Upon a Time in the West was actually next to be seen on my DS list

Mark wrote this when people told him he was always leaving his phone off the hook and he was harder to reach than Elvis. He thought it was funny.

It was his brother in law if I remember the story right

Really enjoy your heartfelt reactions to DS & MK NavyDoc, but just in case you don’t know, Mark Knopfler is the sole songwriter, lyricist, arranger for all Dire Straits 6 x albums with his amazing DS musicians; all 10 of his Solo albums with his 96er Bandmates; and composer of 9 movie soundtracks; along with countless collaborations with other artists, and the list goes on to date. I’m also a big fan of how his gorgeous vocals lend so much character to his unique lyrics. Anyway this recommendation is well worth a watch: Dire Straits - So Far Away (Live, The Final Oz, Australia, 1986) - kzbin.info/www/bejne/aqPWaqV5hcSqprssi=VJCV5QCv-SMrdafw I❤MK
