I also like the "Language Tutor" because he's so concise and to the point. But "Butterfly Spanish".....I think she's very good too. She goes into more detail, she's happy and has a great attitude....her videos are longer but she teaches slowly and methodically. And in the end, you learn alot from her. Again...perhaps the most positive, fun and happiest person on KZbin!!!!!!

Almost all spanish and I hardly even realise that i am following along perfectly understanding her every word .great smile and so entertaining while more informative than any other.

Necesito aspirarla 2. La necesito aspirar Example 4) You can drink the beer - Puedes tomar la cerveza 1. Puedes tomarla 2. La puedes tomar Example 5) I don’t want to see Miguel - No quiero ver a Miguel Miguel is a name. Miguel is masculine. Miguel is *lo.* 1. No quiero verlo 2. Ana, I'm an "intermediate" estudiante del Espanol. This is a topic I've struggled with. You make it so very clear! I love how you speak what I used to call "Spanglish." It's a blend of Spanish and English and I'm excited to be able to understand almost all that you say! Muchas gracias! I studied Spanish for 2 years in high school ( in California) in the 1970's. Then I moved to Indiana and almost never used it until 1989 I got a job as a nurse in a clinic that provided care for trabajadores migrantes. My little 2 years of Spanish helped me as I tried to understand and gradually, over the next 10 years or so, I learned as I worked with bilinguals from Mexicio, Cuba, Puerto Rico, and Texas. But there were so many components of the Spanish language I couldn't understand and this was one of those. I'm looking forward to learning more from your other videos. Ahora vivo en inglaterra and, como se dice, siento que necesitar lo otra vez? Por que? No se. I'm now 63 years old and not able to work, and in a country where Spanish isn't heard very often. But sometimes God leads us to do something without telling us why. So I'm working toward becoming more fluent in Spanish. Me ayudas mucho, if that's the way to say you help me a lot. Muy simpatica estas! Anyway, in my own version of "Spanglish" I thank you very much. I can't donate yet, pero when I can, I will.

I am new to this channel, but immediately I appreciate how you begin the lesson primarily English, then when you move on to the second example you repeat the same explanation but switch to teaching it more/mostly in Spanish. I've been brushing up on Spanish basics I learned in high school using duolingo, and I can form practical phrases like "tengo que lavar los platos". But they explain all the grammar and sentence structure rules in English terms only. They don't tell you how to say "el infinitivo" or "forma no conjugada", and so on, at least they aren't yet the level that I'm at. Here you're helping us to not just memorize vocab and phrases, but arming us with the tools to ask clarifying questions and learn more deeply. Additionally, I am forced to pay close attention to those spoken explanations in Spanish, which is good built-in practice for listening comprehension. I'm not sure I'd be ready for a lesson delivered entirely in Spanish. I would feel lost quickly. But with your method I get the English primer of the lesson, so I know a bit what to expect when I'm listening in Spanish. And you often dip back into English... so if I miss a word here or there, its okay, I never felt completely lost 😃

I'm also making it a point to like all your videos because you definitely deserve much much more than that 😊. I know you must be busy making such wonderful videos to help all the people out there to learn this beautiful Spanish language! But could you please spare some time and direct me with respect to the order in which I must watch these videos? Right now I have seen the video" letters and sounds" and I have proceeded to see individual letter videos like B & V, C, H, LL & Y, X etc. Please reply only when you find the time. Yes, all her lessons are available, just search with 'Butterfly Spanish' and you will get them. If you are a beginner, meaning you need to learn from the alphabets, then start with her video of the Spanish alphabet. From there, move on to the videos about common expressions, and then to commonly used verbs and how to conjugate them. People always find verb conjugations in Spanish to be difficult, because there are many irregular ones. So, start with the alphabet. Buena suerte!

I've looked into this, and listening to audiobooks, podcasts, etc with written translations may be a good start. You may expect to be rewinding and replaying a lot at first, as you get used to native pronunciation and speed. Also in some accents and dialects, until you have developed the listening comprehension, some words or letters may sound strange. I was listening to Carla Morrison (musician) recently and sometimes her Bs sound like Ps, though she is not mispronouncing anything.
