Searching Ebay at night isn't always the best thing to do. I randomly bought this adapter on Ebay for around £7 - £8 and I wasn't disappointed on how terrible it was.

I remember when it first came out, back then the graphics were amazing,I think it still holds up today, plus no pay to win nonsense, just good old wholesome 90s fun

This device gives you the feeling of been concussed, drunk and been poked in the eye all at once feeling

The N64 library isnt huge. 388 games. Most of them were garbage that don't hold up today, but the 15 games that do, were timeless, legendary games. Recently bought an Everdrive 64 and a Jungle Green N64 for the nostalgia factor, and it is kind of disappointing having the entire library, but nothing to play. I think the SNES has way more good games.

I suppose for the someone just wanting to quickly hook up their 64 to a modern screen its not a bad choice. I imagine its taking just the composite signal and converting it. I bought a similar looking device for the Wii and it works ok, does seem to be a bit clearer than this but then again I suppose it's working with a higher base resolution. Can't help but wonder if your one would work with the SNES? I think it uses the same AV output jack. Nice review and thanks for the video.

No worse than using a badly shielded rf lead.

I bought a skinny horrible n64 to hdmi cable. Lasted about 10 mins before I bought an rgb mod for pal and an ossc.

I can only say I got more than 10mins out of this device. Planning on a RGB mod asap

Big waste of moeny these, the cheap ones, "console specific". just get a generic "composite to hdmi" and use your console original cable and at least that way it's repurposable. I'd look at the retrotink 2x cables they atleast use the best possible source and fall back to lower if not available (so the snes/n64 cable goes RGB->S-Video->composite in that order. you'll always have the best video source used for the upscaling.
