Thanks, most helpful. After getting the not enough space message even on an almost empty pc and a full formatted 32gb usb drive this video solves it all. I was able to download the iso using the MCT about 2 years ago without issue so something has changed.

I also noticed that the behavior is different navigating to this page from different operating systems. Very strange and unfriendly of Microsoft. I normally use Linux and navigating to the same page I can easily download the ISO but not from a Windows 10 computer there Microsoft forces me to download the the Media Creation Tool and it will create a FAT32-formatted USB-stick (and max 4GB size). If I want it to be NTFS formatted I have to download the ISO (from Linux) and instead use Rufus (on Windows) to create the USB boot disk. NTFS has its pros and cons though - NTFS needs a UEFI computer.

Isnt it crazy that you have to search third party websites to get windows 10 to work on an older system(my actual gaming PC is in repair and im on my old win7 PC until its fixed). when you look up on the Microsoft site itself there is literally nothing to help you. You may download WinRAR and extract the ISO in a folder, then run the setup file to install it without using any DVD or Pen Drive.

Yes, you can use this ISO to install Windows 10 on any device directly without need of manually booting the machine through USB. If the previous OS was activated, this new installation would auto activate itself.

CD is not required. You can extract the ISO file using WinRAR and run the setup directly if you are using Windows 7.

Yes, this setup file contains 32 and 64 bit, both the installers. But if you want to upgrade from 32bit to 64bit, you would have to do a clean installation using a bootable media. Steps to create a bootable media is also available in one of the videos of my channel.

You can burn a bootable DVD using disc burner. Instead of that, I'll recommend creating a bootable USB to install Windows or extract the ISO using WinRAR and run the setup to upgrade.
