Why not do another Batman movie? >>Well, because unlike all of the other film directors of today, I'm not in this business just to make money. Now shove your questions that you're not really interested in hearing the answers of anyway, and get me out of here! @@natanaelrodriguez3953 it's true that every big-budget movie exists to make money. but unlike Sony or Disney Nolan makes films for the love of it and becuase he wants to tell a story. for him the money is just the means to get his vision realized. if nolan just wanted money we would have had 67 dark knight films now that suck.

"people who watch your movies say there is symbolism in everything, do you like that people go into your movies trying to figure out what is Christopher Nolan saying this time? Or do you think people read too much in to it?" The look on Nolan's face says everything. Did she just improvised that question or confused another movie with one of Nolan's? since when Nolan does abstract or uses a lot of symbolism in his films? The moment Mr. Nolan starts drinking the tea, to me, is the moment he just gave it as "this is just another shitty interview".
@michaelotis2237 жыл бұрын
Hahahaaa probably wishing for something stronger than tea!!

I know right? That’s what made me almost stop the interview. I cringed so hard. Nolan? Symbolism? Since when? Then she goes on to say he PRODUCED three Batman films. Sure, let’s compliment his producing abilities on movies he DIRECTED.
@Antidoxy5 жыл бұрын
I actually think that he did put a lot of symbolism in interstellar, but just didn't want to talk about it there, because they're too superficial and wouldn't get it. But I see a huge amount of symbolism in interstellar.

The film is very beautiful, but it is not completely scientific. To escape from gravity, a large rocket is needed, which we see in the film, but when they go to the planet near the black hole, both to avoid being attracted to the black hole in space and to get off the planet to a spaceship It needs a big one with a powerful engine, but the film spaceship is not the size of a bus. Pay attention to its dimensions. It does not even have room for 1000 liters of fuel. If the engine is nuclear, nuclear fuel only generates heat, but for propulsion, a substance such as oxygen or steam from the spaceship It comes out high, which requires large capsules containing a substance such as oxygen, etc., and does not fit the size of a spaceship. It is not possible to enter the black hole. Atoms are separated from the body and separated from each other.
