I was at Dimash's concert in Almaty on September 23, 2022. There were two premieres of songs, the music for which was written by Dimash himself. We, the audience, had not yet come to our senses from the song "The Story of One Sky", as all the lights went out in the stadium, and a giant figure of Dimash in black appeared in the dark. The beautiful to the point of madness "El Amor En Ti" began. This song was an absolute surprise, because no one knew about its existence in advance. I've never seen a performance like this.. It is necessary, someone came up with the idea for four vocal parts to create four fantastic images: Giant Dimash in black (they say, the projection was the height of a 7-storey house) - fatal, philosophical, wise in life experience. Dimash in white (a little smaller, about the height of a 5-storey building) is full of life and the desires of youth, energetic and romantic. Dimash in red (equal in height to white) - the link between youth and maturity, a burning heart, a fire in the blood. And the unexpected fourth Dimash is a small living person against the background of giant figures. The whole unusualness and trick in this song was that high-class academic classical singing with baritone, tenor and soprano was combined with singing in the style of pop. This song is very special for Spanish speakers, mostly Latin America dears. We were asking him for a song in Spanish for so long. And he really surprised me. He composed the music. And he didn't went the easy way: using the stereotypes of sexy, dancing music. He made it a special song, so full of meaning! I was delighted to listen to it while being in the crowd there, so near to him... And so grateful he didn't see us as so many foreigners like to see. Love your reaction! Not only did Dimash sang all 4 parts, did you catch the reference/homage to MJ? The operatic low, mid and high plus the pop at the end to harmonized it all, all by himself plus fireworks!! This from his Almaty concert, this song was followed by his Story of One Sky live performance which he was completely spent emotionally at the end of that song. Wished that I could have seen it in person, but I watched the entire concert on video. Simply AMAZING! Dimash is a total and complete artist/entertainer. He always gave his ALL. Hi, he is now at 16 by my count. Go to the Concert in Armenia, if you havent seen him sing "Ill Die for the Wind in the Mountains", in Armenian, that he learned the day b4 the concert. It is the most hauntingly beautiful song Ive ever heard. Good luck with your Dimash journey. You will continue to be amazed. Cheers Also. If you want to something else spectacular, watch the opening of his Almaty concert, September 22 when he steps off the top of the highest tower, which is only scaffolding, i watched it being built. I am so glad you checked this out. Those holograms were 70 ft tall. It must have been an amazing experience. And right before he did that one...he did One Sky live. All 9 minutes of the score. Personally I like the fan cam (from Vietnam fan) version because it zeros in on just Dimash and for me ...its much more evident of his whole body conviction. There is no one like Dimash. Imitaters and nay sayers will never be able to disprove his greatness. Try as they might. The guy is legendary.
