It wasn't so much to bring more attention to it, but it was more about getting his frustration out. It was cathartic for him as well as the community and now most of us have moved on and let what's his name fade into the background. Kujo has not responded yet at least publicly. Much love ✌️

Ren showed all of the emails/texts from the ‘back and forth’; Kujo only came ‘knocking’ when he got caught by the reps from the choir where he (Kujo) took the sample w/o permission. From what Ren posted.. the GF came at Ren with (supposedly) joking that she was going to send someone to ‘break his kneecaps’.. if he didn’t comply with what Kujo and her were demanding; that and the way she addressed him in their back and forth is why he included her in this video! Total support for Ren on this issue; he offered to do a new song/video with Kujo and split 50/50.. that was also dismissed - Kujo just wanted $$ from what he thought Sick Boi would bring him. Great reaction, thanks!!

The choir reached out to Ren's team first, and they went to Kujo to make it right and he declined. (Ren mentions this in the long video.)

Great reaction, really balanced. I love the way this video looks like a renaissance painting in certain stills. So dramatic. And the music feels like a film score. Ren went hard on the production as a diss on Kujo in itself, proving he doesn't need to buy beats anymore.

the "i thought you like it rough" is a reference to a text she send to him to brake his knee cap (with a smilie, but anyway a bit off). He dont want to solve this with lawyers because they can not clear the stolen sample and he thinks the only winner will be the lawyers. In the best case the if he should win the case, kujo have to pay compensation...but we can tell, Kujo is a working class guy how do beats in freetime. So at the end of the day he will sit on the invoices from his own lawyers. But he have now time to find a way to clear the sample with the choir. If he dont find a solution, he will reproduce, sick boi, the whole song with his own beats. btw: Kujo can not copyright strike a beat, what he don't own. I think this is the mainreason why YT stepped in.

Ren even offered to make a new song with Kujo and split all earnings straight down the middle, and Kujo turned him down. What an IDIOT.. He would’ve made so much more money than fighting for all that he tried to get out of Sick Boi 🙄 He messed with the wrong guy.

Ren says he will redo Sick Boi with his own beat, pissubly goung to Bulgaria, if there is tine, to do something with the choir. He was still thinking how/if that coukd be done. Rewriting woykd cut Kujo off from any further profits also. In fact Ren now has the legal meat to go after them if he wanted to.

Oh yeah, the gf also put up a piece of the contract Ren had with Kujo, but with different, made up stipulations… Also really dumb when you know both parties will have at least one copy of the original document to easily prove that those words were not present.. how could they think they could get away with something like that? 🤣

Good react, Ren got with the head of YT, the copyright strike was removed, and Sick Boi is back up. No reply from Kujo. In my opinion, this is resolved.

Love your reactions ❤️. The choir sample was stolen. Ren put up all their conversations. He also asked Kujo to put his up. He never did. According to the receipts Kujo & lawyer demanded a 3k pound up front payment plus 15% of the master as leverage They wouldn't budge. Ren tried many ways to negotiate. (receipts) even offered to do a new song and give Kujo a 50/50 split of the whole thing. He turned it down. The girlfriend posted lies on Ren's reddit showing a fake contract. (again receipts). Finally Ren gave up and took the song down from all platforms. Kujo has not said another word publicly. 😊

The girlfriend committed actual libel with false statements of the contract in question and then provided additional malice by physically threatening Ren. She is ABSOLUTELY complicit in the whole affair and justifiably included in the video.

It is even better if you watched the explanation video. The details in the video are more obvious then. It is good that you point out you know only one side, but Ren tried to explain where the problem is and how he tried to solve it before. And yes the girl friend earned her spot. OK, you watched at least part of it. He is independent and has proved before to be quick at producing. Only 10 days from the idea to excecution for Back on 74 ... Great rection!

I keep thinking of the affect of 'Kujo Beat Down' on Renegades as a whole. How did they feel? Was it cathartic to see this video and allow some of that anger to be realeased? Do the last words on the screen help to achieve a breakthrough from righteous anger and end up in a space more peaceful? I think so. Kujo Beats can go to hell. Beyond that, Ren has achieved success in this endeavor. Release your anger through music. Release your anger in any way constructive that works for you. Release your anger.

I think it is worth noticing that for a brief moment in this video, Ren and Kujo change places. It is Ren tied to the chair and Kujo who is standing beside him. This could be interpreted in various ways. Ren has described his own intentions here. He says that people see situations differently and that it may well be that Kujo genuinely sees himself as the victim in this dispute. Now that may or may not be the case. Quite irrespective of that or of the legal issue here, from what I have seen of the correspondence between Kujo and his girlfriend on one side and Ren on the other, it seems to me Kujo has been milking this situation for all he is worth, and attempting to bait Ren as hard as he can. I think it would take a lot of explaining on Kujo's part to dispel that impression. Let's see how it plays out.

Kujo wasn't authorized to sell the beat because he used a track from the Bulgarian Choir without their permission. Ren bought all the licensing rights from KujoBeats trusting the beat was cleared to sell. Ren mixed and used part of the beat for his song "Sick Boi". Long story short, Sick Boi blows up. Ren uses it for the title track to his album that winds up being the number 1 album in the UK. So Kujo thinks he deserves part of the royalties - after he sold the track to Ren without permission. This was all Kujo's fault and the greedy bastard that he is, was trying to cash in on Ren's success. Watch the video Ren put out explaining the entire scenario. He shows all the text messages between Kujo and Kujo's girlfriend, who inserted herself into the drama as well. BTW... Ren incorporates parts of "Sick Boi", "Hi Ren", and "Money Game 3" in this track that he created and produced entirely himself - ironically, the Money Game trilogy is all about greed.
