100%! They ARE just SO GOOD. They shine in everything they do, but I think especially when it comes to songs like this one, with obvious deep emotional meaning for them. And all of SKz are short. We call them the "short kings". LOL. Hyunjin is the tallest at 5'10". But they all have such stage presence, no one thinks of them as short until it's thrown at us, like when they take the stage after another idol group and have to lower the mic. (Which has really happened!) 🤣Binnie seems especially sensitive to his height. There is a whole hilarious sequence during one of the recording sessions. I think it was for the most recent mini album, and Chan wants to lower the mic in the booth because he keeps stretching funny to sing into it, and Binnie is all "No! I don't need it lowered, it's fine!" And they end up having to lower it. Chan dies laughing.

You know Roscoe our people's way of greeting another is called "hongi" (roughly sharing of breath). Basically you grasp the other's shoulder and hand (as one would in a handshake), and then you lean forward and lightly press your forehead and nose against theirs ("forehead to forehead, nose to nose, breath to breath"). Without going too much into it, it simply can be said to be symbolic of the breath of life. The mingling of breath also shares each other's hau (vital essence). Anyway, just saying your "nose nuzzle" immediately had me thinking "hongi" 😊

The first time I saw this video, it was after watching the Survival Show, there was a segment of the show where Chan was being interviewed and he talked about how long he has been a trainee. He talked about his struggle and how thankful he was for the members because he wouldn't be here without them. Then I got to thinking about how hard it must have been for him, being away from his family and how isolated he must have felt. Especially, has he watched friends either eliminated from the program or debuting and he is left behind. I could hear the pain in his voice that he tried to hide with a big smile and laugh. My heart broke for him and the others who have experienced something similar. Hearing this song triggered me to think about the moments when Lee Know and Felix were eliminated and the devastating emotional toll it took for them to continue even if they didn't feel whole. While discovering Stray Kids, I also began learning about the Kpop Industry and the emotional Rollercoaster it can be for trainee who is in the middle of puberty and haven't matured enough to fully process emotions induced by negative criticism from individuals who are mentors they admire. These 8 young men are a testament to strength and resilience. So, after learning of that and watching this M/V, it triggered me and my heart broke. Sorry, I didn't mean to make this post dark. I love Stray Kids and I am happy they exist.
