I agree with the thing about Bang Chan walking. I just need that in my life. I need a 40 hour compilation of him just walking or existing normally. That's fine. Also the song eternity is for both stays and berry and it was shot as a home video on purpose because it was when he went back home on vacation (they don't get many breaks and barely ever get time to spend with their family)

😁😆🤣🤣🤣🤣 Slowmo Chan is the funniest metaphor to get hype!! Double Knot is one of my favs, the beat, the dance, E V E R Y T H I N G !!! If you have the chance watch their performance of the Heartbeat Awards, they have a short performance called Carpen Diem (just Changbin and Han) that is unbelievable!! I KNOW you´re going to love it!!

Doubleknot was excellent. And yes, it was a while back and they didn't have the kind of budget that they can have now, but they were so fine here - and now they've grown even stronger and matured into a powerhouse. I agree though, we may very well give more to them as they build emotional equity with us ... and I'm ok with that.

I honestly believe that Eternity was done because Bang Chan was bored. He is a workaholic and it was probably a home video. The guys have joked that if the world was ending and you only had hours Bang Chan would be working. It was vacation time for Stray Kids and Felix was in Laos for UNICEF, so his usual Sydney partner in crime was missing this vacation.

I tend to think it was for Berry above all, but count Christopher's workaholic ways for helping him do it. I say mostly Berry though because she is getting old and he routinely has spoken about how much he's missed her in his life (his family and friends as well but they have a lot longer to be around statistically). I think the video was him essentially making a little time capsule to have for when she is gone - a beautiful little song and home made music video to remember her by.

With every release Stray Kids always try to give us as many videos as they can, but the production budget only goes so far so we may get one or two elaborate M/Vs and others less costly. For 5-Star, for example, we got the fantastic S-Class M/V, but then we got Topline and Get Lit which were great, but much less extravagant, Youtiful was animation, and then we got FNF (Flora and Fauna) which was filmed in Melbourne, Australia and DLC (Dance Like Crazy) which was filmed in Paris. Both were location type M/Vs like Double Knot. During their early career we got more of those street type M/Vs because their budget was much lower, but I'll take anything they give us gratefully, just to get a little bit more screen time of them. Eternity was a homemade film made while Bang Chan was home in Sydney during his vacation earlier this year, undoubtedly filmed by family members. You can even see Berry stopping to watch the person filming across the street at one point with a "why are you over there?" expectant attitude (so cute!). Eternity was part of the SKZ Replay discography, and they usually don't have videos.

Have you ever seen BAP One Shot? It’s an older MV but at the time it was released it was one of the most expensive MVs ever made. I think it’s still up there in terms of cost but with how big companies are now it may not compare as closely. Anyways, it’s kind of a short film story style MV with alternate endings and it’s one of my favorites, very action movie vibes.

Totally agree! Even if you aren't familiar with them at all, they (& JYPE) do such a truly excellent job of ensuring that the "color" of the song is matched equally by the choreo and the m/v (or stage performance). The m/v is often the-cherries-jubilee-on-top, but if the music & lyrics don't hit, the m/v won't matter in the long run. If a song doesn't resonate for me the first time, I am more than willing to give it a second & third go; because I trust there'll be something that reaches out to me. And that's because I know how hard they've been working to earn that trust from us...

They recently did a mock-video for Tortoise and the Hare as part of the newest SKZ Code and even though it cost literally nothing, I absolutely adore it. And I know it is largely because I just love them and everything they do so much that they don't have to pour money into a video for me to love it unconditionally. They could probably film a music video in a literally dumpster and I would love it all the same as long as its them. 🥰

This is a really very good song with interesting choreography (we only see part of it in the video). The video may not seem as interesting as their later works. But it actually has a lot of symbolism and meaning, which can be understood if you watch their other videos in chronological order. They are all connected by one story line. The point is that the guys are looking for their path in life, the compass helps to show the road, and a special one that no one has walked before. We also see that they find a key that opens a new door. And what’s behind it will be in the next videos. They are constantly moving through different Universes in search of themselves. The atmosphere in the video is very special, it helps you feel how they feel in their quest. It’s as if they are alone among the maze of streets and cannot find a way out of this city.
