Super Junior is the only group that has the talent to direct MVs and concerts by themselves. These two MVs were directed by Super Junior's member Shindong. Two members of Super Junior are professional directors. Shindong has directed many MVs, performance videos, and concert VCRs for his group and for other artists. Eunhyuk is the director of Super Junior's huge concerts and world tours. Additionally, Eunhyuk has directed concerts and musicals for other artists. Super Junior's Eunhyuk and Shindong were even the directors & producers of the world's first ever online-only paid concert (Beyond Live) and were invited as honorable speakers for Seoul Digital Forum. And according to vocal technique experts, Super Junior are The Kings of vocals in the industry too 👑 This group is very talented and iconic.

Burn the floor the performance video is their masterpiece in my eyes, but vocally, they have so many too chose from. If you think their voices sound good here, they singing live is even better! something like raining spell for love (the remix), the voices are on another level! They've done so many different music styles, you have a lot to chose from, they do have a lot of suits, and they are actually quite funny, like the behind the scenes for This is Love has one of the funniest SJ moments ever (high-note battle between Ryeowook and Siwon, every ELF knows that moment). They may look "normal" here but we all know they are all crazy 💙💙

This is Love and Evanesce are supposed to be two sides of love. Like the beginning and the sad end. Shindong is really good on these two MVs; the overall storytelling was genius. And the DETAILS. I wish he direct something like these again. Also, these songs are much better live. More angst, more emotionally charged.

If I remember correctly, This is love is a one take MV. Super Junior has some subgroups (I dare say they were some of the first kpop groups to have subgroups, aaaand I think they were the first in having an official greeting?), Super Junior D&E are the two dancing alone in This is Love, also Super Junior KRY are their 3 main vocals. You heard two of them because Yesung was in military here, they have some of the best vocals in kpop industry. If I have to request one more SuJu song I'll say It's you. That song is still in my top 5 kpop songs ever.

I love the reactions to Super Junior! It is a very complete group and they are a universe, you have different sub units where you can find a lot of genres, really... A lot. It makes me so happy to see you reviewing Super Junior and these two songs in particular! The videos and music is absolute art! Super Junior are incredible. I've been an ELF for well over 15 years now and they're the group I use to get people who aren't into kpop to understand how versatile kpop can be. My parents both love them (and they're very old school with their music style, in their 70s), and my kpop-hating husband fell in love with Super Junior and is now into a lot of other kpop. They're honestly one of the most versatile and talented gropus in the industry. Every single one of them can sing well above average to the point that any of them can cover a main vocalist in a live show if needed. Shindong is a highly respected director and Eunhyuk is one of the best dancers in kpop and does a lot of their choreography. Kyuhyun, Ryeowook and Yesung are three of the absolute best vocalsts in the industry, and all the other members are well known in South Korea for their talent in acting/hosting etc. Honestly such an incredible group and sadly very underrated these days. I certainly hope you get into them more and if you ever get the opportunity you should absolutely go to one of their incredible concerts.
