As an Ohio State alum in attendance, I was preparing myself for a loss as Michigan went for two. We hadn't stopped them all day and when Tyvis Powell stepped infront of that pass I let out a primal scream that was as much relief as it was euphoria. The Game almost always delivers minus the RichRod years. Cliche or not, throw out the records. GO BUCKS!

that one was good for the fact they were both ranked 1 and 2. this was an offensive show that blew out both defenses and had the closest margin of victory since 1926 and the tie in 1973. there was a lot more on the line this year because it was a chance for the bucks to possibly get to the championship where as 2006 had either team guaranteed a spot. 2006 and this year is definitely a toss up.

As a buckeye fan I am obviously a little sour after the past 2 years but I have always loved this Big Ten Journey clip. Obviously it has been very nice being on the winning side of the rivalry for most of my life, but my favorite rivalry games over the years have been ones like this where it is a true rivalry and you don't know who's going to come out on top at the end. I am also a band/music guy so the music in this clip really gets me hyped as well, specifically at the end during Michigan's last drive. Fun fact, I was a snare drummer in TBDBITL from 2016-2020. 4-0 against that team up north. The Ohio State v Michigan games were always my absolute favorite experience of the season. Performing the Incomparable Script Ohio in The Big House and getting booed like you never have before. This is the best rivalry in all of sport in my opinion.

Congrats, you dominated before and during the first World War when the forward pass was illegal, black athletes weren't allowed to play and the majority of the major programs today were either just getting started or weren't a major program yet. The top teams back then were the Ivy League schools and schools like Chicago.

Some facts about those years... - they literally played HS teams (as did Notre Dame) - it was before the rules about Amateur sports existed - Michigan and ND were semi-pro teams. Coaches and players got money. Most other schools (including Ohio St) were just clubs - not even paid coaches. In-Conference, Ohio State has the lead. That goes back to 1912. Michigan was kicked out of the Big Ten for the better part of a decade after violating Conference rules about professionalism and scheduling.

I was there for this game. I am a huge Buckeye fan and was born to hate Michigan. HOWEVER!!! Michigan played a great game and should be proud. I know it is still a loss but what a great game. It could have gone either way. I would also like to say the fans at the big house ( well 99 %) turned out to be good hosts and we had a great time. Great game! Could have gone either way. I have confidence in Ohio State mainly due to Braxton, the D line and the fact that the game is in Columbus this year, but you never know what's going to happen when The Game comes around.
