I just switched to DirectTV Now last week. So far, so good. This video is 2 years old. The Cloud DVR is so far working well, and is still in the Beta phase, but with Apple TV it is working fine. I find that Apple TV deal (I paid for 3 months of DTV Now and I got a free Apple TV) was really a bonus. Even if I drop the DTV Now, I still got a 4K Apple TV for only 150.00 bucks. The stations in the $50 package are good enough for my use. I so far, have not experienced any buffering issues as I used the money I saved to up my internet bandwidth, so far 50mps service is more than adequate. ATT customer support is still and continually is, a pain. First sign in to DTV now was a disaster. No NBC service in my local (Grand Rapids, MI), but the NBC app helps that out. I am giving it 3 months for a final review until I dump Uverse.

People are SO critical. This service is incredible. You are streaming wireless Live TV, it is going to take a while to boot up and buffer a bit, but overall phenomenal. Only recommendation - please get local RSN!

You can also stream directv now on T-Mobile, they have a program called Binge. This doesn't count toward your data but u stream in 480p.

I just dropped Directv Now, because of chronic buffering issues, and signed up to the Playstation Vue service, which so far, has no buffering issues. Plus, Playstation Vue has CBS Sports included in the second tier package. Will have to give it some time before making a better assessment because I dropped Hulu for the same buffering issue, which at first, wasn't prevalent.

Jon Mor ever try direct connections? That guy will explain it to you inside out. His name is Andrew and he can help you with anything, trust me .... you won't have any questions after talking to him he has 5 star rating and there is a reason just tell him you need the hook up 9838 and enjoy.

At first I was not very happy the this service. No Roku, a big bomber! I had to do some updating, because Airplay and Chromecast was pretty bad. I got an Amazon Fire Stick and upgraded my router to ac and now the service is looking pretty good.

One of the reasons I went with PlayStation Vue...it streams on 5. Plus its a much better service in both features & quality. I'm so glad to be done with my DTVnow trial period...but hey I got a free AppleTV out of it.

I switch from direct tv to Cox cable, because the raised the price of the NFL SundayTicket to almost double, the NFL Sunday ticket, was the only reason I subscribe to direct the, but I wasn’t going to pay almost 300 dollars, so I terminate my subscription with direct tv.

Ok, had the service for a year now, it gets better as time pasts, HOWEVER, just in the last two weeks had issues with my login on my PC only. Direct TV has no live help for this. I cant sign in therefore I cannot chat on line and I cant find anything on this issue. sometimes its fine and logs in on my PC but most of the time it gives me no error just keeps trying to login. I seriously cannot believe Direct TV would launch this service with basically no help. All this started with the new DVR option.

Direct TV was great until recently. It has almost been one full month since they have changed your ability to read the "PlayList". For someone that records almost all the T.V. they watch it is almost impossible to use at the present time. They have promised it would be corrected as they had their men working on it then. Did they test the ability to use it before throwing it out there to the customers? I think not or I wouldn't now be considering Dish.

Yeah man, DTVnow is extremely slow & laggy. I couldn't stand it anymore and tried Sling which seems much better. Then I tried PSVue and that's where I landed. The features & quality of PSVue is on a higher level, it's not even close.

Directv was great when I had an apartment and a clear line of sight for the dish, but I moved in with my youngest son's family and tried Directv Now, because there's no line of sight here, (because in Alaska, the dish is pointing at an angle of 34°,pretty much the ground), and because Directv Now uses the Internet, thier reception sucks. And that is because there is NO AT&T INTERNET IN ALASKA, ONLY ALASKA COMMUNICATION SERVICES, AND DIRECTV NOW IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH IT!!!

Tried it and cancelled within 2 days. It just simply DOES NOT WORK. Literally, it would load the Disney channel and buffer then play. All other channels sat in continuous buffer and eventually error out after an hour. Meanwhile Netflix and other streaming services loaded just fine (wasn't my connection). Novel concept but utterly useless right now. Save time, money and frustration by using something else until AT&T figures out what the hell they're doing!

I am ready to change. I don't know who messed up the old Direct TV but you really screwed up. I have contact them two times in the last two days and always the same answer we will change your screen back. Now I see on the multiple things you need know is you cannot change back to the old way. I have caller ID that show on my old scree that I pay extra for from my phone service thru Frontier will not show up. Call Direct TV and they said they would correct and give me credit. That not happening either. I am going to contact the attorney general office and file a complaint for Direct TV not notifying customers of their changes, then drop Direct TV. Hopefully 100' of Million of other people do the same. I am tired of corporations telling the American people what they are going to do and expect us to pay for services!!!!! DIRECTV they suck specially scents At&t have joined them . You start out with a reasonable charge an then they start double billing you your monthly statment will say you owe twice as much as you do. I had helped my mom get it she's on a fixed income she was 85 when she got it they got on a 24 month contract . She was told her bill wouldn't be more then $80.00 month so i checked to make sure pretty soon her bill was $120.00 then it was ..$130.00 . So heres what happen i couldn't figure out why her bill was increased i took over paying it for her an was getting pissed off . Because i couldn't get the the monthly service payment down see by them double billing say you owe for the month you haven't even used yet . befor i took over paying it my mom only was paying what they told her it was going to be which was $80.00 mo. An the bill was that at first . Any way because she missed paying them two months of the increase which was $20.00 something . By her not paying that it just kept increasing kept getting hit with a late charge making it go become delinquent. It had become impossible to get caught up. Specially when her contract had ended an they never contated about a new contract or any . So they charged her full price of a $ 160.00 each month so i called them so with the two months $160 each along with the other . They say i owe them now close to $ 700. 00 But really are you f--king kidding me $ 160.00 is full price for there fucked up service she only had one pay station stars that was it . All imcan say is what ever you do stay as f--king far away from these idiots never ever get involve with either Drictv or At&t there both nothing but trouble . Wish i would of l listen to friends an coe workers about them . They'll never get any more business from me not one fucking dollar will they ever receive from me they can go fuck them self the worthless ass holes. Just saying .
