The snow didn't accumulate where I live in Lower Mount Bethel Township PA just 5 miles north of Easton, PA. It stayed above freezing all day. Got a slushy coating on grass and other surfaces, but nothing very measurable. Just enough to be a pain in the arse!! I had to work outside in the weather all day from 4:30 am to 2 pm.

SE West Virginia. Woke up to wind but snowfall had stopped. Then some time after 12 noon, STEADY snow falling and wind. WIND! AND COLD. The couple of times I checked the temp, never above 33 degrees. Snowed all afternoon but didn't really put down much more than yesterday's bit. I'll be generous and say there was one inch on the ground. This was a pleasant surprise. I was doubting all the time this snowfall would happen because I had spent the day prior (Wed.) in capris and t-shirt, working outside.

Thank you for the presentation of your weather videos. I would like to caution the winter weather lovers especially those living along the big cities of the I-95 corridor such as NYC, Philly, Long Island, and CT. The Thanksgiving storm over the last three or so model runs has gone with a way warmer upper air pattern and it is why your are seeing most of your weather apps on your devices lean towards rain and the temperature now jump up to the mid 50s. The track is bad for snow and there is no setup for these areas. You will not ever get much snow in the East if your temperature profiling is in the upper 50s the days before an event and during the event. You need a cold pattern to settle in before, during and after an event if you want a shot. Maybe inland gets some more snow from this. It looks to be a mainly rain event. I know everyone is also excited about the upcoming colder pattern however I will caution you that sometimes the pattern you want and the pattern you get are two totally different things. The last few models runs while they are still pretty chilly/cold are sort of moderating a bit especially for the big cities. There is a chance that the active Southern jet stream is not going to be as active as originally first advertised. This would mean we could be sitting here in much of the East with a chunk of chilly/cold air and that's about it. I see no big major blasts of cold or any storms to write home about. This can and will change overtime but I do have a bit of a gut feeling that tells me that this may not work out to be the dream everyone is hoping it to be. It looks slightly active with just average to slightly below average temperatures to me and not much else.

I think everyone forgets that these are forecasts and they're not set in stone. Anything can happen. We can shift into a full blown La Nina and all of us in the SE will have yet another warm winter OR we can be in a more favorable pattern and it goes to a more traditional winter. He tells everyone to take these models with a grain of salt, literally lol. Stop arguing over weather...ya look foolish.

Not really the euro Canadian are in agreement the gfs is being the gfs and has lost the storm. Gfs tends to lose a system a week out then a few days before it comes back. Models definitely aren’t “all over the place” lol

I’m really hating the weather nowadays as a heat and summer lover in the north Mountain West. While it has been mild compared to the past few days with snow melting and the high temperature reaching 50 degrees it’s been mostly cloudy I’m really hating these grey skies and lack of warmth! Looks like colder temperatures and snow will return Sunday with the forecast showing high temperatures only reaching mid to low 30s to upper 20s with low temperatures in the teens. Really hate that winter is here please go away winter!

Im never really very excited to see the temps drop as we head in to winter. But this year Im really bummed. My furnace doesn't work. We've ordered the needed part but are waiting for it to come in. Even when it does get fixed though, I still cant use it until my ex and my son get the heating ducts under the trailer fixed. They are trying but are slowed down by the fact that they can only work on it when his new wife is at work and doesn't know hes over here. 😢 We are using space heaters during the day when we are home to keep an eye on it. But I wont use them overnight because of the risk of fire. (We had a close call last Christmas).

I dont think it will snow! Too warm still especially up north. Air was cold to the south but its plus 8 here on Saturday. The rain will bring humidity and raise temps 2-3 degrees making for rain. BUT it could be snow if its cold enough in the upper atmosphere which is what i guess direct weather is predicting

I doubt that this snowstorm is going to happen. I haven’t checked the 12 Z of the European, but based on what I’m seeing on the GFS and the euro it’s most likely gonna go further to the south causing the New York City area to miss out of most if in any the snow. Also NYC got all rain from the current system.

This storm is a week out from now, so a lot can change between now and next Friday. The models can shift the storm north and bring heavy snowfall to the Northeast, but the models can shift the storm farther south and bring more of a glancing blow/miss forecast to the East Coast and the Northeast regions.

Hey, I'm trying to get the sun blocking ice sheets and mylar reflector sheets up in space to block much of the sun from those areas and the ocean water for Ice clouds to be in more effect all along the northern and Mid Atantic states off Shore cloud makers and those of the Pacific Coast Also all the way to the Bearing Straight Area along the Allutian Islands or however they write it in text script ...the Islands of the South Coast of Alaska. With those pumping off a few cubic miles of water into the air along with the Space placed Sun blocking ice sheet Satalites blocking out much of the sun light from the earth all along those lines, and the massive plumes of water to turn to Ice at least a couple times a day, it should be far colder than expected.. and the wind from the fans blowing the earth surface warmed humidity from the snow melt, it actually should have be far far colder and many feet deeper snow even before December, than any of the models are showing.. and 20 or so degrees colder in and vastly more swift time period... And I have. Been trying to get them to make Ice Tunnels from the North of America Canada areas as well as the Northern State of the United States and their High Mountain airs to the Mid section of the United States from west to east coast to pump down the Ice Cold air so it can be blown into the air all day and night along with lots of water from the lakes and Great lakes and resivores from Canada on down to the Cold air vents.. really should have been underway a while back, and showing much results as they work south.. massive ammounts globally also, there is a Japan and Korea thing also against China all the way along the India Hymalaya effort that needs to be shaded also all the way to Europe and most of the Mid and upper atlantic.. they can't afford their light bills on any real tangible currency and have been over indebted for many years and the owe also debts to the women victims.. so shutting off most of their power and light and the food thst they can't afford globally. And that means Canada and also the Northern United States of America.. India and South East Asia is and was the males best option but I have not seen them take up on it. I'm pretty sure my wives and most of the KZbin Weather guys have had a chance to get the word out.. also the New York and Washington D.C. Supreme Court stuff and Election transfer of power to a fairly well known many trillion dollar in debt state of being of male politicians and cops and police forces that can't afford to ecen pat their bills or male militaries... wheeew..
