@@jimmydiresta very nice job has the looks of a hard wood table but keeps the cost down ,, love the sawdust wood filler .. did that 30 plus years ago in shop class ..need to knock the dust off my wood working tools and make some saw dust ..thinking coffee table and a couple of end tables not sure what type of wood to use yet ? any ideas keep up the great videos ..

What did you put down first? A poly? You sanded it off and then out on another. What was this process for? I understand filling the holes with epoxy, but what was the purpose of poly and then sanding it off?

I love the final look of this table! I'm getting ready to make a similar dining table for a client. I was wondering about varying wood movements between the plywood and hardwood? I will be making a plywood core also the facing it with some 100+ year old barn wood. Can you foresee any issues arising? Thanks
