A strong, elite center was always what was always eluding the Mavs and keeping Dirk from winning multiple titles; Tyson was that missing piece.

⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠@@frvshprinc3170out of the 80 games so far Kyrie has played in 58 of those games… so yes he’s missed 22 games this season and Luka has missed 10. i won’t say Luka carried, but the team without Luka won 4/10 games he’s missed without KAI the Mavs won 11/22 games he’s missed. the team went 15-17 without their 2 star players. with both of them on the court the team is 35-13 putting them 22 games over .500. The mavericks are by far one of if not the most deadliest teams when their superstar players are fully healthy. Luka is the most valuable player on this team though no question, that being said with stats like that proves that he is the most valuable player in the league.

If you’re a Dirk fan, there’s a story out there about a high school aged Dirk taking on the best high school players in the US. Dirk absolutely destroys all of them, and some of the guys he destroyed went on to be great in the NBA. The story truly illustrates how great Dirk was at such a young age, it’s awesome!!

He's being generous, Luka has 1 offensive hole and if he fixed it he'd arguably be the greatest offensive player of all time, that hole is off ball movement. He tends to just stand around after passing the ball off to someone, which is fine cause hes spacing the floor by having a defender on him but if he started doing more off ball movement to get open (he has already shown flashes of it) he literally would have no offensive flaws. He's already shooting 3pters in the very high 30% range WHILE shooting a comparable volume to Steph, imagine if he kept moving off ball that would shred any defense even harder than he already does.
