Dirk is a fabulous drummer. Dave Mustaine has always known how to surround himself with good musicians but here with Kiko + Dirk + James line up, it's great. Belgium has good beers, good chocolates, fries to die for but also excellent drummers ! :)

The Sick...The Dying... And The Dead! is the first time Megadeth has sounded like a real band since 1997. Everyone on the record plays with such precision and personality on every track, and the listening experience is enriched by the fact that you can really hear the chemistry between the band members. It's one of the best album's of the band's career, and every member should be extremely proud.

I can't wait to hear what the band has up it's sleeve next, and if this is indeed Megadeth's final album for any number of reasons, then it's one hell of an album upon which to close a career.

Somehow I agree with you, but Endgame was pretty fucking insane. But yeah, The Sick, The Dying and The Dead is somehow more organic.

I am seeing them in 6 days in Halifax. I am super excited. I was 9 or 10 when I got my first Megadeth album...Rust in Peace...and then I got Countdown on the very day it came out. So I am a lifelong fan.Looking forward to seeing them again. The last time I saw them was on the Rust in Peace anniversary tour. It was great..but I am super stoked on hearing the current lineup live.

The drumming here is deceivingly complex. It sounds straight forward, but there is so much nuance. It's very much reminds me of what Gar brought to Megadeth. Best line up since the 90's. That last break down is so heavy.
