I loved his songs in the 70s, even though I was only a child. My mother said he was known as the Silver Fox. What a smooth, melo and yet powerful voice. Great artist!!!

Years of smoking "emphysema" symptoms actually played the biggest role of his demise.Coughed one day & on into the night until he had an aneurysm burst in an infected lung while trying to sleep.

The second song is Lonely Weekends which was sung during his Sun Records Days. It was similar to Big Boss Man. He did do Big Boss Man during this show though. It was later on.

This is so sad...Charlie really looks rough. Heavy smoking, drinking caught up with him! He's only about 61-62 here, died of a blood clot in his lung. He made great music & left behind a treasure of work for us to enjoy forever! Thanks for it all Silver Fox...

Lord , even this song (that I love) would even be criticized from the woke bunch. Why? I don’t know they always think of some new word to describe a new form of something offensive to them.
