YES IT SPINS FAST WHEN YOU TURN ON THE VACUUM . YOU MUST BE DOING SOMETHING WRONG OR THE PART IS DEFECTIVE.

No it’s because the belt either is broken or it slipped off

Sounds like the belt is broken. Mine is doing the same thing. Belt won’t stay on.

@@rosemariearao8455 mine did the same thing. Clogged in the suction tube. Had to take the bottom apart and use a ramrod to push hair and dirt out of the clear tube that runs from the roller to the basket. Found there was a piece of plastic that got caught and caused the clog.
