The 14419 Sounded great before I added the headers. Corsa and Volant are the same cold air intakes and are very high quality. Need to look into a range or something like that to turn off the AFM/DFM to prolong lifter life and then you can get rid of the exhaust flapper valve. That flapper is to regulate the pulses of the exhaust when AFM/DFM is active to reduce vibration, drone and the helicopter affect that it causes.

@chriss4992 жыл бұрын
93 is recommended for the 6.2.. so maybe it would have been $110. :-)
@IntelAlpha2 жыл бұрын
Exactly, 91 or 93
@matt13ross2 жыл бұрын
HA! I know that now guys, first time with a 6.2

Does replacing the muffler do anything to your warranty?
@matt13ross2 жыл бұрын
Shouldn’t.

Delete your dfm system with a module that plugs into old port or say bye to that engine please take my advice
@matt13ross2 жыл бұрын
I don’t think there is one made for the new 22s yet. It’s on the list though.

How do you plan to stop the tire rubbing?
@matt13ross2 жыл бұрын
Combination of a few things. Have to test it out though.

Sounds good Matt. Delete that dumb exhaust valve. You’ll have enough room.

Will this mod void the warranty?
@IntelAlpha2 жыл бұрын
No. Just the warranty on the exhaust.
@matt13ross2 жыл бұрын
Nope! If you start removing CATS and stuff, probably.

So a $2000 exhaust system is too expensive, but a $73000 truck isn't?
@matt13ross2 жыл бұрын
Most trucks are very expensive. This is the least expensive off road 1500 truck. IMO, NO cat back exhaust for almost any vehicle is worth $1800, regardless of the vehicle it goes on.

Too much money? $1800 for new exhaust is out of your budget? The truck was over $70,000? But your willing to pay extra for premium fuel ⛽️? Come on! Don’t be a cheapskate. Spend the money 💰. You can’t take it with you when you die.
@matt13ross2 жыл бұрын
Right but there's places to spend big money, and places to save money. I'm not spending that much on a cat back, that's ridiculous.
