I've always been a bit more verbose than expected as i struggled to communicate when i was younger and found it was easier to make use of larger words that meant conveyed the same thing as several smaller words, well that habit kind of stuck even after its source problem ceased to be, and at one point i was talking to my friend and used the word "sans" as in, to exclude and they lost their shit because they could only think of the undertale guy and i had to link them to the song Enchante to prove it was an actual word lmao

I was vividly reminded of "You've Got to Be Carefully Taught" from South Pacific at the line about gathering the children, but the rest of the song my emotions were in something like shock and distress at how much of this I recognize from daily life. I def can't listen to this while looking at headlines lol. I really appreciate the way the chorus croons "cry wolf" so softly that you find yourself drawn in and soothed despite being able to explicitly hear the message, it's an amazing storytelling effect you've managed that makes listening feel even more immersive like the listener is a character in your world

Not sure why but I'm thinking about "The day the earth stood still" (the old movie): in this version a visitor from the sky is used / misconstrued as a threat for the purposes of controlling the population... but then turns out to be a helpful / redemptive presence (i.e., the one being tortured in "beauty will save the world.") 2. James Poulos just released an interesting article titled "Cortex Communism" which seems to intersect with these themes, talking about "the fairly plain confluence in the making of AI acceleration and State-Sponsored Alien Trutherism." Now my question is: is the alien also a werewolf? 🤔
