Nice driving buddy. I like the game. Not sure if i like it as much as the original though. One thing that has definitely improved is that the cars now feel like they have some weight to them. I always thought that the cars in the original felt like they were made of paper.

One think I like is that New Zealand stages say they are based in ‘Hawkes Bay’. The stage is actually based in Waikato (or Raglan). The stage in real life is called Whaanga Coast.

Why did they change the dash-cam in this game ? The dash-cam in Dirt rally and Dirt 4 was perfect. Dash-cam in this game too high up. No WRC cars either. Not even the Citroen C4. Who cares about R5's, Aston Martin's and Chevrolet's ??? They improved the physics but they also changed things that were spot on in the last game. Car looks really floaty in this video too.

Id like to know about camera views in replays.. can you for example watch the whole replay in roof camera view or will it keep switching like it did in the original ? Also with the new dash cam can you adjust the field of view? For example can you move the camera closer to the windscreen like it was in the original?

The camera views are the typical car gameplay cams, uhh.. I forget exactly, sorry. Pretty sure there's an internal one behind the driver and co-driver like DR1 had, and theres now an option to go exclusively trackside footage. Can't remember off the top of my head if it's combined trackside or heli, or if they're both separate the entire time now. There should also be the revolving cam type. I could boot up the game and check, but... ehh. The new dash cam... I don't like. Doesn't really seem like any of use like it too much to be completely honest. It's by default the same sort of position as cockpit, except no, the FOV doesn't seem to affect it for some reason and to me it looks orthographic and hard to judge. The cockpit cam you can still move around freely though.

yeah, i want to be able to sort of zoom out if you know what i mean so the scale is right on a bigger tv, so the virtual wheel is the right size in comparison to my irl wheel (and then disable the virtual wheel) with a big tv right behind the wheel. will the fov be able to fix this so the virtual cockpit is not oversized? this will just be until the vr patch is out, then im back in vr! yay!

Nah it's likely a very nice Screen Space Reflection as everything reflected on the hood is readily visible on screen already.

I don't know if you have had access to multiplayer yet, but how is track degradation handled there? I doubt any degradation is applied there based on how many people have driven the event already, right?

overall it is a better game than dirt rally. gravel is almost perfection. poland alone is worth buying the game alone. also challenging. people who do world records will struggle against the hardest AI settings . so plenty of content plenty of challenges. also multiplayer !

@@mohammedsalimahmed5230 you can play multiplayer in rally ! so make a lobby get people in and you all race at same time ! not alltogether on same road but you all do the same stage at same time. then on right you have the sector times live as people are doing the rally ! this makes for exciting and tense gameplay. seeing your friend is 1 sec up on you. do you push take it steady. with a whole lobby of people doing this is really fun.

@@filmmakerstudios I checked and menus are showing 12 rallycross cars. 7 of them is RX Supercars, 1 Buggy, 1 RX2 car and 3 is RX Super 1600. So, sorry you have to wait DLC for Group A and B cars. They already anounced some of them.

you can have mp lobbies in rally. you rally against each others time at same time. you cant see each other while doing it the times for sectors pop up so for eg you me you up as we rally by 1 sec first sector and so on. you can do numerous events with numerous people really great fun!

Is this game worth getting if playing with a controller ?? No money for wheel and all that , I really liked how WRC 7 played and felt with a controller. Dirt 4 was absolute Arcade garbage and don't want it to be the same . would this game feel good and somewhat Realsitic with just a controller?
