Massimo Axle Seal is leaking. Let's try and replace it! The Seal itself is very inexpensive. I was worried the axle was damaged, but we got lucky!

Thanks for the video, my right rear seal started leaking at about 650 miles. Ordered 2 new seals from my dealer (thanks Harrison Motorsports Harrison MI.) for just under $10.00, changed out in less then 2 hrs.

Drivers side seal went out on mine after 300 miles. Your video helped a ton only took 20 mins total. Replaced it once and it leaks worse than it did before. Would you recommend rtv on the outside diameter at all? Gonna try greasing the inside for sure but just don’t wanna take a risk of doing this job a 3rd time.

I don’t think rtv is recommended. Make sure the level of fluid isn’t too high

I will say, this has to be a design or seal issue from factory. I had to do the exact same thing on my brand new machine after maybe 6 months of use to get the mail and driving on grass around the property with maybe two or three snow plows tossed in. I contacted them and they sent me seals under warranty very quickly. I too did the work myself. I wish I had your videos when I did mine!!

Same side too. Never had issue with driver side seal. Just passenger rear.

I got mine and there was too much oil in the differential. Static seals are not meant to hold physical oil. It's meant to stop splash oil.

Grease static seals before inserting Axel or you will be doing this again
