Dirtbike riding Phelan, CA to Cleghorn Ridge trail

We start at the "Mountaintop Cafe" off Highway 138 in SoCal. We rode over the ridge in Phelan, crossed up the I-15, through Summit OHV, and then up Cleghorn Ridge trail. There's a few sandy hills that were really tough to climb (for me at least). It was a great day.

Serious question. Why did the rider crash at 1:24 ?

@@ogregang3203 he hadn’t been riding in a while, recently got back on 2 wheels. I think the other riders coming the other direction really startled him and it all happened so fast and went bad quickly. He said it really hurt. I’ll have him comment on this :)

He's not very good. Wasn't looking far enough ahead. Oncoming traffic took him by surprise and he grabbed a fist full of front brake - "The rider"

😂 Thanks guys for the replies. I am about to buy my first dirt bike and was genuinely curious. Going to take some riding clinics first before I do some riding like you guys did here. Ride safe!
