Just bought a '24 EX250 and by far one of the best bikes I have ever owned. Ive had several 300s and pretty amazed how much you can still lug this 250.. Overall just a great friendly and forgiving machine. Very user friendly. Lots of great deals out there now too! Lets hope GasGas sticks around and KTM gets their SH_T together this year!

Try 100mm rear race sag. You'll thank me. GG recommends 105 for the 250 and 100 for the 300. That will get rid of the bike wanting to climb out of the rut on that uphill you were on. Power is the reason for the sag difference. The 300 wants to push more. I got a new '24 250 for 6500 OTD!!

Never a doubt that a 300 makes great pwr, it's all about getting it to the ground for my money! Sounds like this one does that really well

Great review. I'm thinking of trying a GG for my next bike. On a 250 xc now and the suspension on the EX bikes sounds like it would be a better fit for my riding. Had to revalve the xc to get enough compliance for techy stuff. Is that lake Isabella in the background?

Saw a new '23 for $6500 last fall in central OR. Will be even cheaper this year

Are there quite a few differences between the 24 and 25? I think the frame is different for the 25?

The frame, engine mounts, and linkage along with suspension settings are all different for 2025.

@ That can make all the difference in handling.

What’s your opinion on the gearing? Would you go down or up a tooth?
@DirtBikeTestАй бұрын
After this initial ride in these conditions, we'd like to try going up 1-2 teeth in the rear.
