I have a '96 shee. Owner's manual states mixing ratio of 24:1...I've always ran a ratio of 32:1 with no issues. Less fouling, less smoking. Great video btw

I like em both but I can definitely see your point.. The Raptor has so much torque it doesn't feel like it opens up the same way the Banshee does.. I think the Banshees ergos are better too.. I'd happily ride either one tho!

I hate the fuel injection on the raptor,700r no where near the trail milage, as most bike, i have had every make of bike built and stock, and raptor's seam to be the worst for fuel related problems, i had a 2006 350 and the bike would cavatate the fuel, half hour into the ride, and they are nose heavy, ran out of fuel many times, water bottles dont make good gas funnels!!!!!!!

The best bike in my opinion was the 2008 special edition burnt orange and black yfz 450r, so fast responsive, well geared, nice balance, never felt like I was going to roll it to easily. but I ride a honda 2005 450r daily for reliability

Very nice banshee! I subscribed. I know some information on the boost bottle and it's functions which may help you and others. Boost bottles are typically for 2 Stroke engines with crankcase that is a too small of volume for the expansion pipe, YEIS boost bottles was effective on older Yamaha 2t bikes. Motorized bike engines with very little crankcase volume use them as well, it also has to be calculated with the the right size tubing and bottle size to increase the case volume required for the expansion pipe requirements or you will not see much if any gains in performance at all.

I find it funny the little differences between each manufacturer.like for example on my 250R all I have to do is hit a switch and the entire seat and fenders come off. I never realized that on the Banshee to get the fenders off you have to unbolt them. That bike is sweet what a time capsule don't throw out the stock Parts a lot of people want those like I'm looking for stock parts for my FourTrax and they are wicked hard to find even things like the handlebars and the stock pipe etc

@@DirtObseXXion you know another funny thing about the Banshee is that we used to back in the day have a contest to see who could start it with the most ridiculous way ever. It got to the point where we were able to start it with our hand because it is the least compression 2 stroke because the cylinders are so small. And the kick is such a small range compared to say a 250R or quadracer 500. It's so easy to start.

definitely an excellent machine, maybe consider losing that big crazy restrictive plastic air box, that limits the air intake so much. then just add two nice filters right onto the carbs with no adapter. youll notice a big difference again!

Dirt ObseXXion you could put fresh plugs in it, fire it up and just let it idle until it’s warmed up. Kill the engine and look at the plugs. Are they a nice tan color? If so, ride on!

Get the tors delete kit. And remove those boxes on top the carbs. The bike will be easier to tune. And you wont have to take the carbs off the boots. Just losen up the clamps and turn them sideways. And just have to take off the bowls when re jetting🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 and junk the boost bottle. On my stock shee it caused my intake boots to crack. And it leaked around where the bottle inserts

ME 109 pipes will not affect fuel oil ratios. Each oil brand recommends their mix ratio. I was using Klotz super techniplate at 32:1 ratio but have decided to change to Amsoil Dominator at 50:1. it is fully synthetic and seems to burn cleaner

It's just rubber that has to be removed, it's pretty easy to cut with a sharp knife.. you're just making it flush too, so basically just need to find a long enough blade and slide it straight across the port.

The stock exhaust has 4 springs.. Yes, pipe and jetting add lots of power. The Toomey t5 are a top end pipe tho

Orange from an 08 model, they came on ot but weren't original.. We have videos on it where it's very clean.. This was day 3 of a 3 day ride.. I'd check eBay for the plastics

I have T6 but I have main jets 230 and it is very weak, I will use 280

I think 280 was too much he went down slightly in size if I remember right.. I'll check with him but the T6s are probably a bit different anyway..

Yeah, you notice more of a difference with a good 2stroke pipe than you do on a 4stroker.. Not sure the actual HP gains but with t5s the gains are mostly in top end end.. I hear t6s are better for low end power
