I had to get a ride back to the truck on the back of my buddy's Raptor 700. When we get to the trailhead, there's a guy sitting there. Those two plus the Grizzly 700 would be my top choices. The new Outlander 700s seem nice and they're a little longer than average so it may be easier to have a passenger.. We did a shootout between the Grizz and KQ last year, both are great machines.. Definitely my top 3. After that, it comes down to availability, price, and personal preference. Of the 3 though, I agree with your buddy, the KQ is extremely reliable but it's a sacrifice in suspension travel and steering compared to the other two.

@@portrajared No problem brother, happy to help.. Can-Am's reliability is more questionable than Yamaha and Suzuki. I've always had luck with the CanAm's but I've seen others having electronic issues with the Outlanders. If you can get a King Quad at O% and a little lower than MSRP, that would be a really hard deal to pass up. Ride and capability-wise, these 3 are splitting hairs. I need an ATV that will run though a muddy plowed heavy Kentucky clay farm field... The kind of clay mud that pulls your boots off if you walk through it. It needs to be able to tote a 200lb+ driver, 40lb jerry can, 100lb back pack, and some extra gear. (450lbs/500lbs payload). It needs to be reliable because it is going to travel way out where nobody can hear you scream. It needs to be fixable on the fly, and easily maintained. It should also be somewhat stealthy with a low sound signature. Diesel/multi fuel (If that exists). Which one is my best bet? (Price = Sky is the limit).

Most 4x4s 500cc and up will fit your needs.. We have had terrible luck with Polaris ATVs but some folks have faired better than us.. A CanAm Outlander 850 or 1000 would definitely meet your needs to but those are my recommendations and the machines I'd be considering if I were you.. All will be 10k + so it will come to you prioritize.. Japanese machines tend to be more reliable, CanAms are much more powerful.. A Honda 400ex would be my recommendation for you... Sport ATVs are awesome and the 400 is pretty easy to learn on and fun enough to keep you happy for a long time..

Love your videos guys keep up the great work, your totally right I bought my 2020 rancher thinking right on this will be great for around the farm but then after 2000 km it still leaves me wanting more that Honda can't deliver so my heart starts wandering and now I'm back to square one my rancher just don't have the berries to do what I need, sure I can point at it in 20 years and say yup my Honda still runs but as far as excitement goes it's no different then my fourtrax from 20 years ago. Someone should do a proper review with utility quads loaded to the max and actually haul 1000 pounds on a trailer and do actual work that they would normally do.

Yeah, I never prioritized reliability personally.. We ride for fun first and foremost... Foremans aren't super fun.

Isn’t the Outlander 1000R max close enough to a fighter jet?? 🤣

the brute force 750 is my ideal machine. it is not expensive, old school, well made, fun to ride, fast and very quick. has great engine sound. does not overheat and is reliable. is very good looking. has a racing heritage from the glory days of kawasaki and mike penland. and easy to tweak for better performance. it is comfortable and very agile. very light machine. it needs led lights, better suspension and if i am a bit picky, it need that 800cc engine that kawasaki already has in the teryx and is the exact same engine but larger displacement with more power. kawasaki is one of the most powerful companies in japan. they make anything from nuclear plants to robots, from satellites, military and civilian planes, high speed Shinkansen bullet trains , they are a titan in japan. it would cost them minimal effort in time and money to upgrade the brute 750. we d'ont need a 1000cc machine. a light 800cc machine would be very good. 800cc and 400 pounds lighter than 1000cc can am and polaris. now that would be fun.

Yeah Brutes are great! I think there's a Brute big bore engine kit where you can build it to the same size as the Teryx..
@stromghouls2 жыл бұрын
@@DirtObseXXion i sold the kingquad this morning. this winter, i will upgrade the brute. i will not ride it in winter. it will be in a heated garage all winter. i will definitely get the elka stage 3 shocks. a uni or twin air filter kit. a slip on exhaust, and i will check maybe for an engine kit. it is new territory for me, i have not much knowledge about good parts for the brute, but i will learn. i have also heard about dynatek and stuff like that.

Great info here, and even better entertainment. Just gotta ask, did you get gum in your beard? Looks like you cut it back a bit. The 2 up Atv rider comment is spot on.

Lol! Hey Scott! Yeah, something like that.. It gets expensive to feed beards this big..

I'd call them Spor 4x4s.. Not a whole lot of utility there.. Grizzlies, Sportsmans King Quads ect.. I'd say those are sport utilities... if we're splitting hairs
