Where I worked they used a 349cat to load the 20 ton and 50 ton trucks itcwouod take 4 scoops to load the 20 ton and 8 to 10 for the 50.

At 22:00 You can hear one of the happiest sounds nature can give us: Spring Peepers - the promise that another miserable interminable winter is ending! I give a shout of joy every spring when I hear them for the first time. And it snowed this morning here. Central Ontario, Canada. And our peepers just voiced this week! Yeah!! (Spring peepers are small toads that chirp endlessly at night in ponds and swamps during their spring mating season. Go Kermit!)

I truly thought Bubba Dump was going to struggle all day, especially as it was that wet 1st thing. But it proved me wrong, was Matt trying to do a handbrake turn at the dump area, am sure at one point it nearly went in sideways on a perfect angle.

I’m thinking you need to add hood latches to the “to do” list along with the lockers and brakes. It almost came all the way open on a few of those bumps when Matt was going Baja style through the field. It’s great to see it out on its maiden voyage. I think a SOT made Dirt Perfect grill would look good on bubba dumper just like Chris’s custom haul truck grill. Keep up the good work, love your guys’ work dynamic.

Like all new drivers on haul trucks, Matt has two things he might improve on... one is to break the track or not single rut.. I know the lockers are not working but digging a hole to china is not preferable either. The second is a typical thing, crowding to the drivers side... he needs to try and get more up on the road an not crowd his drivers ditch line. I have driven just about every make and type of these rigs... its similar to driving a cab over highway truck and so putting the rig where it should be an not over the centerline... its a tuff one to get past. He is driving like a conventional truck an there is really no comparison if you get past it has a steering wheel and tires. I do see his potential as he is quick study and puts everything he has into it trying hard to succeed. I believe by summers end, His ability will even surprise him. Looking back sometimes can be a good thing. I sure am glad to see the team together again.

#BubbaDumper is a nice truck a little extra Shop-Love to it and a little facelift/face repair and a reversing camera (unmistakably on those things and mounted exactly in the middle you can aim the bull's eye exactly where you want to go or where the ground should be) and Bubba is ready for it . thanks for the video DP , Matt and Jerry

Next project, steel tracks (skid steer style) for the back half of the dump. MBTS can build them, it's just heavy chain, 3/4" flat bar bent up on both sides, and some creative juice

Here in Sweden they often put heavy duty aggressive tire chains on the dump trucks, they can go almost anywhere with those on. Slick forest tracks or construction sites with deep mud and snow (or ice) are much less of a problem with those on. They tear up the ground they run over something awful though, so travel on paved roads or nice driveways is not advisable... They are also expensive as heck I think...

(Incidentally close to a Moroccan (or wider?) saying that would translate to: "I have participated in building the mosque where you learned that".) 2) Thousands of years ago, the Netherlands were like that site. Then my ancestors invented the dump truck (probably a 1hp version), and now only the very Southeastern bit has some good dirt left. ;-)

I spent years on dumptrucks ftom a 25 C up to a40G they really dont run well on topsoil atall once u get to the subsoil they usually travel well.
