AC in an offroad truck is much more important than heat. The small windows don't let in enough air to keep you from overheating in those things. I ran one in the summer once that had the door window knocked out of it. With that and both the tiny windows open I still couldn't cool off when running 30 mph. You can wrap up in enough clothes to keep warm but you can get butt naked and still be hot and sweaty. Nice looking truck. Good video. 👍

Mike, I might be speechless here! Bigger excavators means 2 series, but 3 and 4 series seems a bit overkill of course, until I saw the dump-truck (your going to spend 20 mins filling it with the 120). That dump truck sound bad-ass, like Lt Dan and the truck! Looks like a winner.

You will not get stuck with that volvo 30, they are the best volvo ever made; we run 14 of their A25 that has not had a tailgate fitted and all parts are still available from volvo! Check for rubbing hydraulic and engine oil pipes when dropping the belly plates. two pipes to change for peace of mind, from engine block to the air compressor and from engine block (RHS) down to the scavange pump between the front two hydraulic motors. Pipes get hot and fail when it is inconvenient. Otherwise pretty bullet proof.

I can't say that I have driven a volvo haul truck, because it doesn't fit our operation, but we do have a couple of Hydrema 912s 10 tonne dump truck, and they are great for areas that are a bit too wet for something like a A25 or A30. And for their size they can cary quit the decent amount. I'm not sure how common they are over in the states, but they are very common where I live. You could take a look at one of those, if you think something like a Volvo is a bit too big for you.

The Volvo haul truck looks good. OK Mike, I have a plan! We all know if the Missus can be convinced, you're golden so here's the plan. Look for projects where this haul truck can pay for itself on one job. Then draft a business plan including what it would cost to hire or rent one and sit down with Jenna and go over your plan. (PS: don't include the cost of taking it to C&C and have Kevin tune up the paint job) With just one small caveat this could work. The caveat? well if you buy the Volvo and don't get the contract, RUN!

Fantastic buy I've 2 here in UK the TD122 F12 engine in it is by far the best if I was to pick at it its the turbo would do well from a more modern equivalent if its fine wich it sounds and looks leave it alone other than that there perfect depending on what model it is A40 45 it will be 287hp to 387hp that's unless they spec them different 😀 but yeah good buy

Its about time you bought a wiggle wagon. You'll start using it and you will be damn why didn't I buy one sooner. The Volvo will go places Leutenent Dan wouldn't dream of going. You can put regular duals on Dan and use it for highway hauling, then you can retire the C8500.

Mike the company I work for has three of those two four wheelers and one 6 wheeler and those brakes are pain in the ass to fix but they are flexible and they are good frigging loaders and as you know logger Wade has one he's transformed it into hauling logs okay this is Bob from Vero Beach Florida God bless have a great day and stay safe
