I've run loader alot, you did a pretty good job for not being in one everyday. I've seen guys who have run them everyday, and you have good ones, and bad ones, just like with everything else. You got the truck loaded, without spilling material all over the place. Some people Monday morning quarter back everything, cause they're miserable.

With the "weight" feature, it finally sunk in that that loader bucket had lifted more than the weight of my 550G dozer and dumped it the back of that truck. I have a tractor that sometimes struggles to lift a round bale about 1/2 that high.

Howdy Mike I’m thinking that would look good in your awesome shop but I’m thinking you should get Chris to build himself a new shop like yours because you both have a lot of nice toys but Chris has a little one as you know when you tried to change the oil seals on his haul truck but watching you guys work his really fun and interesting but your shop has heating and air conditioning where Chris had you outside in the elements with Mother Nature glad to see you guys having fun though most of the time 7:05 from North Country NY 😎🇺🇸

Boy, that’s some nice loaders, I had an old Terex loader , it it had a 6 yard bucket on it , had a bunch of power , but she had to scream , all day long, it had a super charger on it, was a great ole loader

I used to work for a company that ran 2 volvo 150 shovels and a 180 like here, the difference in size between the two different models was quite substantial.. of course all the operators liked the bigger machine.. I was quite surprised when he said how much horsepower the haul truck had, I was expecting it to have around 300 maybe 350 tops.. If I'd been there I think the one thing that I would give thought to is maybe fitting a reverse camera to Bubba Dump, (winter project??)

Mike did you see the bright safety orange tool by the console? Bubba Dump needs one of those, so if Captain flips him over in a pond, he can escape and not drown, Mr. millennial noticed the tool also.

In Captains defense, just before he sails Bubba Dump off into the pond, he would most likely already knocked a window or 3 out of the cab from banging into some trees, so he should just be able to step out onto the hood through where the windshield used to be!! LOL

I run a cat 982m at work that has joystick steering, the cat joystick has all the functions on the joystick, forward and reverse is a rocker switch on the frontside of the stick and your gear selection is a rocker just above where your thumb rest. Everything is at your fingertips. I don't think I would be a fan of volvos joystick steer where you would need to reposition your hand to change direction.

Something tells me that when you consider Feature/Price Tag balance, Bubba Dump looks pretty good and holds his own. Take away the price because money grows on trees and the new truck wins hands down. So many new guys go under due to over extended on payments when times are good, but then a downturn kills them. Of course you put a lot of work into Bubba, but thankfully you had the skills or shop charges might have hurt. The guys who cannot turn a wrench are at a huge disadvantage unless they can earn enough with operating time to offset the mechanic's charges. Volume cures a lot of illness.

Just from a simple idea the Volvo engineers got to remove the front axle from an ordinary farm tractor attach it to a dump trailer with a pin permanently and put hydraulic steering cylinders between The first and one and only Volvo is still King of ADT market
